Great location good food - Edit
A short walk from the train station off the 30th and you’ll run into this cozy restaurant. Overall our experience was good, would’ve given them 5 stars but the veggie pot stickers were kinda of cold, not saying they weren’t throughly cooked, but they might’ve sat out for a little before serving. Would recommend and come back if I’m in the area again.

My go to when I when to treat myself and decompress! - Edit
This restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in Astoria. I love coming here to unwind, center and treat myself. The food is so delicious! They also have great non-alcoholic beverages which is perfect for me as I don’t drink.

Disappointing - Edit
(1st Review)From the initial phone call getting a little bit more information about this place (I spoke to the very nice John) To the calm and so cool server Milo. Service here is excellent! The food was delicious and so light and healthy tasting. The flavors are balanced with complexities. (Current Review) so today is the third time I am patronizing this restaurant. The first two times was dine in and delivery and both times was fantastic. Today for lunch I ordered the barbecue ribs and the smoked teriyaki seitan. It comes with soup and the miso taste like water. The rice was bland. The protein had a good flavor. No one was in today to speak to about this problem. I have to wait untill tomorrow to speak to the manager and see what he/she will or will not do. If I’m not compensated properly in whatever manner that they can do then I won’t return. What a shame this is the only vegan restaurant in this part of Astoria and it’s only three blocks away.

Delicious Japanese food - Edit
We had one of our best meals in NYC here. The food was delicious, the service was good. The restaurant is a bit dark, probably good for a date. I recommend the onion starter. This place is suitable for a mix of vegans and non-vegans.

Way Better Than Expected! - Edit
Spacious yet cozy spot not far from the train and museums in Astoria. I knew it would be good, but it was excellent on every level. The service was also friendly and fast.
Read moreI took all the other reviewers' advice and got the ribs and loved them. The spicy udon noodles were incredible, as well as the mango chicken. The appetizers sort of stole the show--scallion pancakes and spicy tempeh. You should try them both.
Excellent all around, will go back again and again.
Pros: Affordable , High quality , Quick service

Always good, always fast. Highly dependable way of getting Asian flavors in an entirely vegan menu. Everything I’ve had here is good: the curry, the bowls, the noodles...

SO good! - Edit
If you’re looking for Asian-style vegan/veg food, this is the place to go. I took my non-vegan family here and they loved everything we tried. I highly recommend going here if you’re ever in the area.

The ribs are so good! Blackened and smoked just like the “real” thing. We had the sweet and sour sesame too which was also great.

Great spot - Edit
I ate at Jujube Tree once, the service and food were both good. It has the same menu as a few other restaurants like Wild Ginger in the city and Brooklyn. I would definitely eat here again if I was in the area.

This place is a gem - Edit
I used to live down the street from jujube and I'd walk and eat there at least twice a week. Even after moving a few time zones, whenever I come to New York I make it a point to come here (usually on my way from LGA to Manhattan). The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The miso soup on a cold winter day is everything! Unique vegan Asian food with lots of variety in taste and texture.

cornering the market - Edit
This quaint place sitting on the corner is a true treasure. The food and the service were both quite good with a wide variety of all vegan dishes. Although they claim a lot of rice and noodle dishes, I found some other Asian staples including protein and broccoli Brown sauce and others.

Really good Asian food - Edit
The food was really, really good! I took all of my non-vegan friends here lol and they loved it! The pad Thai noodles were amazing! The bbq ribs were good as well, not as amazing as I thought it would be, still good though. The bbq ribs come with a salad and either brown rice or miso soup. The crispy chocolate brownie is EXTRA sweet. It’s good if you’re really having a chocolate craving. This is because they add hardened chocolate on top of the brownie as well as chocolate chips, white and dark chocolate chips. It’s not bad though. The prices are reasonable, they’re not really expensive. The place was nice, as well as the staff.

Delicious lunch - Edit
My husband and I happen to be in Astoria yesterday and Jujube Tree came highly recommended from his vegetarian friend. The place is great! Wonderful, friendly service and tasty food. We tried the BBQ ribs and cold noodles. My husband was overly concerned that we misread the sign and that the ribs were real meat, that's how realistic they look and tasted! Definitely a great place to try when in Astoria.

The pumpkin soup was amazing, and the onion pancakes starters. The protein spinach salad was fresh and good,; the dressing was tasty, but I'd order something else in the future.

Great Meal - Edit
I went here a few weeks ago on a slow Friday night. The servers were very attentive even when the restaurant filled up. Everything was delicious and exactly as I pictured it would be. I just had the steamed vegetables with brown sauce, and it was perfectly cooked. We shared the peanut butter bomb and thankfully the waiter told us that it is enormous because we almost got two desserts! Very reasonably priced and thankfully in Queens and closeby.
