Coffeeshop, Not Café - Edit
Some of the previous reviews and photos are actually of another location in Kaimuki. This location is more of a coffeeshop with a few pre-made food items. Today, there were yuzu mango mochi, mushroom melt sandwiches, and everything bagels with butter or cream cheese. The mushroom melt didn't appeal to me, and the bagels looked like cheap ones from a grocery store, so I didn't buy anything. However, my partner ordered a coffee. I appreciate they allowed him to use his own mug.

Always falls slightly short - Edit
I want to love juicy brew. I've been eating here on and for years. But somehow it's never that good? This location has the vegan cream cheese that is on point. The bagels are flat and lame. The iced coffee is just an iced Americano. But the cream cheese is worth coming back for.

Loved this place! - Edit
First, they don’t sell juice. This is a cafe with delicious food and homemade teas and lemonades. I got the chick’n buns, the watermelon poke and savory brioche that I ate for breakfast. Everything was good, and the prices were super reasonable. I didn’t love the raw cheesecake, but they had a gingerbread cookie that I could eat every day!

A pleasant surprise - Edit
When I walked in I thought this was going to be another place that sells overpriced small portions, such as $10 avo toast. No, the prices and foods were delish. The person at the counter suggested a spicy “chicken” wrap for me which was spot on and very filling. And they heated it up nicely, so even though it was premade, it came out tasting fresh and hot. They advised to check out their main shop where the food is made, which sounds good.

Pros: Healthy wholesome and delicious, Reasonable prices
Cons: Hard to find!, Limited selection, just grab n go

One of my favorites - Edit
Favorite weekend brunch place. Never had a meal there that I didn't like. Free meter parking on weekends but can be hard to find.
Read moreThe other location in the medical clinic is my favorite place to get premade meals to go for the days I don't want to cook. Parking is free for customers in the building and the food is always good.
Pros: Desserts daily , Premade meals to go, All vegan

Yummy but not what I expected - Edit
Really friendly service and lots of options but it was all cold and grab and go style food so you have to reheat it.

Sandwich Bar - Edit
This place is located by a medical centre. The food is all wrapped or packaged in plastic. Didn’t eat anything due to appearance of food. No evidence of local ingredients (as mentioned elsewhere). Have three stars as a guess.

Werkend brunch is fresh, mouth watering SCRUMPTIOUS! - Edit
This place has daily grab-and-go dishes with ingredients that come fresh from local farms. But it's the weekend brunch menu that makes juicy Brew an out of the world must visit. I can't Rave about this place enough. Every single weekend they have a brand new brunch your Face-Off vegan menu of mouth watering dishes from Farm Fresh Produce. They also make things like gluten free waffles with a scoop of vegan ice cream and whipped cream covered in fruit compote. It's hard to describe how incredibly tastebud bursting this delectable delight is. Suffice it to say it's no ordinary waffle, it's a big juicy crunchy soft waffle covered in the works. But that's how all of their dishes are. Big and healthy and Hearty and full of delicious elements. It's not that typical health food bowl mood, it's much more complex and Artisan than that. They actually put their time into making pickled items and very Gourmet dishes that reflect the cultural flavors from across the island. This brunch is not to be missed!

Creative use of locally grown, native ingredients - Edit
Juicy Brew is doing some amazing stuff with locally grown, native ingredients like ulu (breadfruit), kalo (taro), olena (turmeric), etc which is super important in shifting Hawaii's food system towards one that is self-sustaining.
Read moreI would choose the Kaimuki location over this one, especially if it's your first time going. This location is in a medical building, and is more of a grab and go lunch place.
Updated from previous review on 2016-12-12
