Juice Generation

I came away feeling average about Juice Generation. I went with the Citrus Super C, consisting of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and mint. While I like grapefruit, I felt that it overpowered the drink and I ended up throwing half of the drink away - I didn't really taste any of the other ingredients in there. I'd try JG again, but would try something else.

Best juice/smoothie place in the area

This place is right by the 33rd Street subway stop, on the corner of 33rd & Park. It is mostly organic & vegan, though some products do use honey and whey (which you can ask to swap). This venue is roomier than most Juice Generation places, though there are no place to sit. There are two other juice places across the street, (Juice Press and Jay's Brewery), but I'd give this one the edge. In addition to juices, smoothies, and the like, they also offer a couple savory, pre-made salads, but this is essentially a juice/smoothie place.

Pros: organic, quick service, vegan pastries

Cons: no places to sit
