No Real Vegan Options - Edit
Most potential options are cooked in butter. They were kind and tried to be accommodating, but the options were too few.

Butter! - Edit
Be sure to ask. The Veg Out burrito (squash) is cooked with butter, the rice is cooked with butter, & the “Mexican slaw” is made with butter too. Very disappointed. Would not return here.

Downtown Gilbert Option - Edit
Honestly, there aren’t many decent vegan options in downtown Gilbert. I always get the veggie tacos - specified vegan - when I come here. And they’re good! But it’s either that or a heavily modified burrito, so it gets a bit old when your bf loves Joyride haha

Flavorful - Edit
Joyride’s salsa is amazing, it’s hard not to fill up on just the complimentary chips and salsa. They have great drinks and happy hour specials as well. The vegan options aren’t labeled, but they do label vegetarian and I’ve never had an issue with the staff helping me modify items to be vegan. Everything I’ve had is delicious.

A joyride for your tastebuds - Edit
I so wanted to get the veggie taco at Joyride taco house--because you order what the place specializes in, at least on first visit, but the veg-out burrito was easier to modify vegan. Order without the queso, white magic, and rice, which is cooked in butter. Sub the rice and bean side it comes with, with the orange cucumber salad (but hold off on the vinaigrette--it has honey). The burrito and the salad that came out was delicious; it did not disappoint.
Read moreThe vegetarian options at Joyride are clearly labeled, but it will take a little bit of back and forth to modify vegan. Not the most accessible for a vegan but the joyride to get there is worth it.
Pros: Complimentary chips and salsa is yummy, $5 margaritas 'til 5pm everyday
Cons: Guac is not vegan

The veg out burrito contains squash that is cooked with butter! So is the rice. Be sure to ask next time. It doesn't seem there are vegan options here.

Thanks @hippywitch575. I took out the rice because of the butter. I don't remember the squash coming up in convo; it might have been a miss.
