Great breakfast - Edit
Drove down here for the açai bowl (build your own bowl option) and tried out the Avocado THE Waffle combination as well cause it sounded interesting. Both were really good and I can highly recommend it (tried two other places in Morro Bay the days before and their açai bowls didn’t even come close). Very friendly staff.

soupy açaí bowl - Edit
i ordered their regular acai bowl and asked for honey on top and paid $1 extra. when i received my bowl it was super soupy and runny and they had forgotten to put honey on top. annoying. maybe they had blended the honey in with the smoothie but i doubt it. I personally like my smoothie bowls to be thick like sorbet but mine was like drinking soup.

As a Joy consumer as well as worker, I can say that the environment is so welcoming and positive, everything is kept exceptionally clean, and the food is delicious and made with lots of love! Joy serves the finest quality organic and cold pressed juices, smoothies, delicious açaí, pitaya, and blue majik bowls, warm toasts, always with gluten-free options and made in a sanitized and safe environment for those with celiac, fresh and vegan soup, organic coconut based frozen yogurt, and power packed salad. The owner is always looking for ways to incorporate more local businesses, healthy and happy ingredients, and improve the environment for everyone who steps into Joy. I can see why some say it’s a little pricey, however you are paying for the finest organic and local produce, as well as the excellent customer service. A definite must try!

A very cherry place that is also close enough to the ocean to take a sunset walk. The staff is very friendly and the bowls are very good. A very large menu, it will take a while to read through them all. They have a play area for children and a very aesthetic feel in the store. Lots of vegan options to choose from!

Sweet shop for juice and more - Edit
Very nice and clean shop with delicious vegan frozen yogurt, organic juices, smoothies, bowls, and some savory items as well. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, some local to-go snacks, and a nice little area for kids (there were even kids books by a local author). Good vibes!

Juice Bar in Shell Beach - Edit
Nice to have a juice bar within walking distance of our home. It's new, so all I've had so far is the Sweet Greens & Ginger Juice, which was good. It's $9 plus a dollar deposit for the bottle, a little more than what I'm used to paying, but then again I don't have to drive to get there. Next time, we'll try to vegan frozen yogurt (coconut), and when they add vegan food as promised, we'll try that too. Welcome to the neighborhood, JOY.

I visited a second time, had some vegan frozen yogurt with blueberries and walnuts. It was good, but didn't see prices posted, wondered if I was being charged extra for each topping, will have to ask next time, I guess.
