Didn’t like it - Edit
Didn’t like the food nor the service. Tried it just because I was passing by oriente and decided to give it a try. Fries weren’t well fried and the « vegan burger » was literally only a patty.

The worst pita falafel ever - Edit
I had the pita falafel with fries and that was just NOT GOOD. Falafel were dry and except 3 pieces of salad and carrots no other fillings no sauce inside the pita bread which made the whole thing very dry. The sandwich was also super small. Fries are like McDonald fries. So in 5 min they get cold and then just taste like plastic. Also very small portion. AVOID AVOID AVOID also super expensive for what it is. Like really expensive for this quality.

Decent - Edit
Stall in a mall food court. Nice fat pitta with falafel, vegan options marked and an English menu on the counter. Good lunch option if you're in the area. They give you a mayo dip, but when asked if it was vegan it was quickly whipped away.

A fine place - Edit
Not chip, the "falafel" has nothing to do with falafel but still tastes nice.

Conveniently Near Airport in a Mall - Edit
I had some time before needing to go to the airport so I found Joshua's Shoarma Grill in this large mall, part of the Oriente train station.
Read moreThese little restaurants are quite handy for vegans with many options and well-indicated menu items, although I do think that you might sometimes still have to specifically mention wanting your meal to be vegan.
I had the falafel wrap with fries and an extremely good aloe-flavoured drink. I would keep an eye out for that drink!
Four stars since they do serve meat, etc.
Pros: Near airport, Good options
Cons: Serves animal products
