Tasty Caribbean vegan food with a ride range of options. I had the ginger chikn and the mixed sauteed greens over brown rice, all tasty. The curry chickpeas and dumplings also looked great. I also had patties - jerk tofu and lentil - both delicious. Right next to the New Rochelle train station. Will be back.

Feels like you’re eating a home cooked meal in someone’s cozy living room. Relaxing laid-back vibes, friendly, and the food was phenomenal. My picky 3 year old loved the ginger “chicken”, peanut butter smoothie, and the Philly rib sandwich.

Wow what amazing soul food. It was amazing and the vibration of the establishment is amazing. I loved the owners and how inspiring the community is. I can’t recommend enough getting a 5 choice plate and trying everything!!!

Jolo’s choices are plentiful. There was a buffet with at least six or seven delicious choices. Plus the menu with sandwiches and salads and entrées and sides plus desserts too, and juices. Very very delicious!

Shame I Cannot Give One-Star. Food Ended up in the Dumpster - Edit
Stopped for takeout yesterday in New Rochelle at Jolo's man that was a mistake. They had a very limited selection so I ordered a 2x plate which was about the size of a takeout sandwich box. I got mac and cheese and portabella mushrooms. The mushrooms had no taste at all and the mac and cheese tasted like flour with a hint of nutritional yeast. I made a stop about 15 minutes later and threw it out.
Read moreI also ordered two patties a lentil and a spinach patty. The breading on the patty tasted doughy and was pretty gross. The lentil was a mush of barely flavored lentils, that also was half eaten and thrown out. The spinach patty had the same horrible crust, but the filling was actually pretty good.
I ordered a small plate and two patties and it came out to $17 and change. I threw out half a patty and three quarters of the plate and ate the insides of the other patty and threw the rest out.
I do not remember the last time I threw food out, but not a chance in the world I would go back there.

Delicious Vegan Eats - Edit
I stopped by Jolo’s for a quick take out lunch on Christmas Eve day. I ordered the portobello mushrooms, savory jackfruit entree and sweet potatoes. I also ordered a jerk tofu patty. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious ious and nothing disappointed. I also purchased a fresh, homemade ginger beer, and it was bold and refreshing. I will definitely be a return customer.

We love it here! Traveling from DC to Boston, found on Happy Cow, so glad we went! So many options, hard to choose! We got enough for leftovers! Everything was SO good! Healthy too! All vegan, all unprocessed, no to min oil. We had “ribz “ and savory stew, avocado salad and a few apps. Nice atmosphere, comfortable, casual. Fresh sunflowers on the table! We will go again if passing through!

Beyond Friendly and Delicious - Edit
I'm writing this review in direct contradiction to the one complaining about customer service. I have rarely been to a restaurant that exhibited the overwhelming hospitality that the waitstaff (I believe his name was Jacob) and even the chef displayed. We were treated better than family. Food was great, especially the patties and "ribs." Definitely a return customer.

I have visited Jolo’s for over five years now between the old North Ave location and this new venue. The food is consistently excellent, but if you are looking for a positive dining experience steer clear. The service has always been slow; “island time” is a real thing. More recently the servers are lacking knowledge and good manners. They clearly have no concept of customer service. The food is no different from the North Ave location except half the portion at twice the price and the ambiance does not warrant it at all.

When I'm in the New Rochelle area I'm always stopping by Jolo's! My favorites include: jamaican patties, rice dishes, cheesecake, zucchini bread, mac & cheese, & the coco bread. The coco bread is amazing! I love to eat it with a patty in between.

Staff was very nice. I had vegan ribs with a side of green beans, and veggie fried rice. I LOVED it. I tried a few bites of the Mac and cheese that my friend was having and it was also very tasty.

I stopped into Jolo's for lunch between two work appointments and I am glad I did! They have ready made vegan options and you can choose 1, 3, or more combinations of items. I got the vegan meat curry, quinoa, and greens. They also have menu items like vegan burgers, sandwiches, and salads. It had lots of flavor and the staff was VERY nice. I'll definitely come back when I am in the area

The music, the people & lastly the Food!!! It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! No wonder I always see young kids in there HAVE YOU HAD THEIR CHKN NUGGETS!!!? It's ridiculous & delicious it should win an award!! Everything in the menu is delicious. It's such a great spot - yoga classes right next to them and a meditation spot a few steps to the right. Perfect location. Thank you guys you are all fantastic!!!

A Westchester Vegan Staple - Edit
Jolo's originally started as primarily a take out, small cafe. I am so happy they have expanded into this beautiful space. It's a comfortable environment with art displayed. ALL VEGAN, ALL the time! They have Jazz nights which are to not be missed and very popular. The menu is somewhat limited, but I have never been disappointed with my meal. Love their sangria, and that they have other alcoholic beverages to offer. You've got to JOLO because YOLO!

The new space is nice but it is overpriced for what you are getting. The food I had (curry stew with quinoa and kale) is the same that they serve at the other location but more expensive. I'll stick with the original.

Great New Location! - Edit
The new Jolo's Kitchen is just beautiful! The space is so much larger than the older location and much more upscale with a cute little bar where they serve drinks. The food as always was great and very tasty. I had the vegan rib Philly melt and it was incredible. The service was slow but I think they were short staffed that day. Will definitely be back and bring people over to this location!
