Gave the only vegan option a try as a guest of mine wanted to eat here. The vegan chicken is soy based pea, carrot, beetroot, and potato. Several dipping sauces but when ordering online, there is no indication which ones are vegan. Fries are the vegan side offered. There is a Kale crunch salad I'm supposing it can be made vegan without cheese. My order came with 2 vegan chicken patties and dipping sauce. A picture of it on the ordering menu showed it with a slice of bread, but I didn't receive one. I prepared it with a whole grain bun and mixed the dipping sauce with vegan mayo.

Soy patty was awful - Edit
This is a fried chicken restaurant, first and foremost and while it's great that they have options clearly labeled as vegan-friendly both options are unapologetically terrible, the soy patty was clearly recently frozen and frankly, embarrassingly low-effort (not even breaded or fried!) compared to the meat option and the coleslaw wasn't great either. I left with my appetite ruined, not sated. Fries and fried pickles are bafflingly NOT vegan to boot.

Vegan Nashville Chicken - Edit
If you are familiar with the chain you know. If not, they make a wonderful vegan option that you can choose your spice level for. Beyond that not a lot of options but one of those guilty pleasures to have from time-to-time!
Read moreWe stopped at this location for lunch. Possibly timing but was busy with little open seating and parking was similar. We ended up parked on a city street and enjoying our lunch.

Delicious Vegan Chicken - Edit
Joellas has the best vegan chicken. My boyfriend is a meat eater and he likes the vegan chicken at Joellas better than their real chicken. Now he gets their vegan chicken delivered at home through Door Dash about once a week. They also have a great kale salad that can be vegan if you just ask them to leave off the parmesan cheese.

Vegan chicken? - Edit
We went here with my omni family and got dinner to go. The vegan chicken was not anything special. It was two bland soy patties. I would not care to eat those again. I will say, the fries and kale salad were very tasty and they gave me a lemonade on the house while I was waiting which really impressed me. The catchphrase seems to be “do the right thing” which I find ironic considering how the chickens fair in this restaurant. If you have no other options this would do.

Vegan Chicken - Edit
I like Joella’s but the vegan “chicken” is just a large soy patty. You get two massive soy patties when you order the vegan chicken. I wash they had a sandwich option for the vegan chicken. I always get an extra piece of bread and make my own sandwich and layer the Cole slaw on as the topping. Then I have an extra patty and Cole slaw leftover to take home and put another sandwich together at a later date.

Favorite "Chicken" place in Louisville - Edit
Love coming here. The Vegan Options has great flavor, I normally go with "hot" which is about perfect for me, but the have a spice level for everyone.
