Serves meat, vegan options available. Fried chicken restaurant but you could get vegan chick'n here as well salad and sides. Open Mon-Thu 10:30am-10:00pm, Fri-Sat 10:30am-11:00pm, Sun 10:30am-10:00pm.
Joella's is a place I visit almost every two weeks. The staff is knowledgeable about vegan options. They have a fried chick'n fillet plate that you can get with one or two sides along with a customizable spice level. To my knowledge their vegan sides include shoestring fries andkale salad (without cheese). They also have one vegan dipping sauce, the cheerwine bbq sauce. Honk the chicken before you leave! :3
Vegan chicken was very good but it was more like a nugget than fried chicken. There wasn't much flavor to it. It tasted great if you're expecting a nugget instead of fried chicken. I dipped mine into ketchup and loved it!
I noticed someone's review mentioned the mashed potatoes were vegan but their website confirms it has eggs so it is NOT vegan. A picture of all of the vegan options is uploaded or you can go to their website.
I've spoken to the owner at least at the Lexington location and they confirmed their potatoes were vegan. The eggs might be used at other stores - weird.
