Best cooked vegan breakfast....ever! - Edit
Since I discovered this little gem of a cafe I have been finding any opportunity to return! They have a separate vegan menu (which they were reviewing at the time I last visited, as it has proven 'so popular', which was no surprise). There are a number of delicious, homemade options available and very reasonably priced. Options range from sandwiches (with your choice of combination of vegan fillings) to the cooked vegan breakfast, which I can honestly say was the best I have ever eaten (at £5.00 incl a cup of tea can't be beaten on price either). Plus, as you wait to order don't forget to check out the cake section as there is usually a vegan chocolate cake and/or peanut butter flapjack to enjoy.
Read moreThe cafe is based within the Emmaus site (very large charity shop and a wealth of second hand bargains to be had before you even get to the cafe itself) and to top it all, dogs are made very welcome both inside (ideal when it rains) and in the sunny outdoor seating area.
Pros: Delicious food, Very reasonably priced , Dogs very welcome
Cons: Meat and dairy options also served, Copy of vegan menu sometimes has to be requested
