Vegan 1st Friday Lunch Buffet - Edit
Update from a long long time ago - they only have the vegan lunch buffet on the 1st Friday of every month. Confirmed by phone. Shoot, forgot to ask price. I'm sure more. I haven't gone since pre-covid, so I'll leave my old review. As for dinner, they do have one vegan dish.

I have not eaten here any other time as they only offer the vegan lunch buffet on Friday's. Go! It's reasonably priced at $12.95 for all you care to eat and a glass of Rose is offered with the current French theme. The offerings are as follows on the buffet - there are always 2 soups, make you own salad, 4 prepared salads that are creative and rotate, fresh fruit, an array of pizza, at least 2 hot dishes (like truffle mac & cheese/ green bean casserole) and a beautiful display of desserts.

Vegan buffet - Edit
I really wish I could give this five stars! With tip it comes out to about $22 and well worth it. There's many options and a fair amount of them are gluten free. I try to go here at least once a month when I'm free on Fridays.

Monday vegan dinner menu is outstanding too (the Friday vegan buffet is a must) - Edit
I eat at the Friday vegan lunch buffet every time I’m in town. It is so popular that you need to make a reservation by Tuesday’s. They have two seatings. 11:30am and 1pm. But do NOT forget Jill’s also does a formal four course sit down vegan dinner every Monday night. $30 and it includes a glass of wine. Fabulous and creative options. A real treat. Highly recommend!!!

Allow a lot of time - Edit
The food is excellent and the decor pretty, but the service is slow. I enjoyed my tofu scramble one morning and granola another. But I think they are understaffed.

Super buffet - Edit
You can fill up for less but this is totally worth every penny. Great dining experience. Wide selection with lots of yummy items. Some dishes are uninspired but who cares - just skip those that don't appeal to you - it's a buffet!
Read moreDesserts are amazing but sometimes they run out, so stock up if you like something in particular.
Do make reservations, you might not get a table if you just walk in.
Pros: Great price for upscale vegan dining experience, Lovely setting , Both healthy and not healthy options
Cons: Only one day a week so plan ahead!

Friday Buffet is a must - Edit
I wouldn't attend this restaurant any other day of the week. The buffet was very well done! Many different choices of pizza, made with unbleached flour (possibly some were cornmeal?). The hummus, pesto, and casseroles were all great. Soups were a little too rich I would say.
Read moreThe chef even walked around asking people what they thought about his menu for the day. The desserts were crafted and beautiful, as well as delicious. I would definitely come again.
Pros: Endless vegan food, fancy desserts, a lot of pizza
Cons: high end restaurant, professional personalities, received check early, only available 4 hrs on Fridays

Vegan Buffet on Friday's - Terrific - Edit
I wouldn't try to go to this restaurant at any other time, but if you go to the vegan buffet on Friday, you will enjoy it. I've been four times and enjoyed all four. It is different every time. There are these constants: two soups, several kinds of pizza, bread, salads, entreès, and lots of desserts and chocolates. If you go, do make a reservation.

Vegans only eat on Fridays... - Edit
We were in Boulder, and searched Happy Cow for a good vegan restaurant option. The review of the Friday vegan buffet was great, but it was a Monday. We decided to give it a shot, and see what regular vegan menu items they had. Well, big disappointment. Basically, none! I asked our server if they could make something for us. She came back and told us "No, the vegan cheeses, etc. are frozen." Apparently, they are only feeding vegans on Fridays. Other days, we're out of luck. We left and found a great Japanese restaurant with many vegan options. See my review of Japango on Pearl St. As much as I love the idea of a vegan buffet, I think Jill's is not as vegan friendly as they pretend.
Read morePros: Nice Atmosphere, I guess, the vegan buffet idea
Cons: Not vegan friendly every day, No regular vegan menu items

Worth it! - Edit
The vegan buffet at Jill's is new and wonderful. I have been to it twice now and have been extremely pleased both times. There are SO many dishes to choose from. There is a table in the center of the room covered in various salads and side dishes, ranging from brussels sprouts to chick peas with fennel to edamame and cucumber with dressings that easily make these dishes delectable. At one of the table are always 2 soups to choose from, I can tell you from experience that they are always delish. You can then stroll up to a food bar area where you see chefs preparing the dishes so you never run out of options. While up there you can choose from the multiple pizzas (at least 4 different ones!), a panini, a pasta to order area with all kinds of options from ingredients to sauce to type of pasta. Moving on is the dessert table where they have vegan panna cotta, chocolate mousse, usually some type of cake like morsel, and a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit! Seriously this buffet is so worth checking out. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! I would give it 5 stars if I could but since they do serve meat the highest I can give it is 4.
