Had a pretty good breakfast sandwich, had some tasty sauce and peppers on it that made it better than other coffee shop food I’ve had

Great drinks and food, friendly service - Edit
The egg and cheese sandwich was great. I asked for bacon and peppers. The peppers added just enough spice to enhance the flavor. Both sweet and savory baked goods available.

Best breakfast pastries - Edit
Jet Black Coffee offers one of the best varieties of breakfast pastries I’ve ever seen. I’ve tried the ginger raspberry scone, cranberry orange scone, strawberry matcha scone, maple apple walnut muffin, ginger molasses cookie and the breakfast sandwich. They are all made fresh and are delicious. Standouts include the breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese on a soft, fluffy bun, the ginger molasses cookie and the cranberry orange scone, a thick glazed wedge with golden edges and sweet cranberries. We’ve been to Jet Black Coffee twice going to and from the Portland airport which is just 12 minutes away.

Great place for a vegan breakfast, coffee, baked goods - Edit
Super nice staff working here! Lots of nice interior space plus a huge dog-friendly deck. The staff even gave our dog some treats. We enjoyed the soy lattes and the Shoofly baked goods. We had a cinnamon roll and a berry muffin. The staff gave us good advice about what to try. Can't wait to return and try the breakfast sandwiches!

A whole vibe - Edit
This all vegan coffee shop is a must visit place if you’re in Portland. Absolutely delicious coffee and food. The egg and cheese sandwich was soo comforting. We opted to have them on bagels instead of the English muffin they come on. They have a variety of different baked goods as well.

Jet Black is the best! - Edit
Jet Black is an all vegan coffee house with tea, rotating baked goods (including plenty of gluten free options), bagels and cream cheeses and breakfast sandwiches. They have a huge dog friendly outdoor seating area. There’s a vegan food cart in the parking lot and they share a building with Food Fight, Portland’s original all vegan grocer. Not to be missed!

Hidden Gem - Edit
Unexpected find, as it doesn’t come up on happy cow with the vegan filter. The breakfast sandwich is exceptional! Pastries from Shoofly are always amazing. Caramel mocha with oat milk is honestly one of the best mochas we’ve had.

All vegan coffee shop next to vegan grocery store - Edit
Went here for the first time today. Delicious iced chai latte and my partner gave great reviews about the marionberry scone, I think made by Shoofly bakery. I didn't try it because gluten, but there were at least 3 gluten free options. Super friendly barista. Will definitely return. Go support our all-vegan businesses!

Great Coffee and Vegan Goodies! - Edit
Friendly service and excellent coffee! I don't drink coffee unless it's good quality, and we were very satisfied with the soy cappuccino and my Betty White Latte with Hemp Milk! They offer a variety of plant milks for their superb coffee. Also their items from Shoofly Bakery were fantastic!

Great plant-based coffee shop! - Edit
What a great all vegan coffee shop. Got the oat milk latte and an oat milk hot chocolate. Both were superb! They have tons of other plant based milk options too. They also have a pretty good selection of vegan pastries from local bakeries. It's also right next to Food Fight if you need some vegan groceries afterwards!
