Vegan cakes not great - Edit
We happened to come by here on their first day of opening. They had a separate vegan menu that had quite a few all day vegan breakfast meals and lunch options like sandwiches and salad. They had a vegan salted caramel cake. As we’d already eaten we just got some chai lattes with oat milk (chai powder was vegan) which were good. The staff were friendly and helpful and it all seemed to be running well and was busy for the first day of opening. Hopefully we’ll get to try out their food on another visit

We’ve stopped here a few times for drinks (good) and cakes. The pistachio cake was ok but the chocolate salted caramel one was bad. The cake was crumbly and tasted really sour- too much baking soda maybe? The topping was nice. They were quite defensive when we provided feedback on the cake. If you’re after vegan cakes try Hettie’s up the road

Top vegan English breakfast - Edit
If you go to Pitlochry, Jessie’s is a must go breakfast place. They have a separate vegan menu and everything looks delicious. We had the Jessie’s vegan breakfast plate which was a huge portion and very tasty. The coffee was also amazing and very filling!

Separate vegan menu. Extremely friendly staff. The waitress double checked if the cocoa powder was vegan (it is 😉). Reasonable prices. They have 2 vegan pastries as well. Highly recommended!

Lovely cafe with a separate vegan menu - Edit
Jessie’s has just opened (where Escape Route used to be) and they have separate vegan and gluten free menus. Serves a range of vegan dishes for breakfast or lunch as well as cakes. Really enjoyed the all day breakfast and it was very good value. They plan to open a pizza kitchen soon.
