I love this place! - Edit
The Mjadarra sandwich is my absolute favorite. The fries are great and you can never go wrong with the baba ghanoug. The fattoush is also great.

Undecided - Edit
Underwhelming: take out order of dolmas and baba ghanoush. Both were too sweet for my palette and lacked complexity of flavor. There are still lots of other menu options, so I would go back without reservations.

Cons: My order was plain/unremarkable

Mujadara! - Edit
Like all Middle Eastern restaurants, lots of dishes are just accidentally vegan. This is a good thing. JG is the best, most consistent ME food I've had in A2. Mujadara just like mom used to make, tasty spinach pies. No-nonsense, get 'er done staff. Another plus is the take-out packaging: paper, foil - not tons of plastic. Great location right downtown (which makes it a pain to park sometimes, sigh, but you can park right out front for pick-ups).

Amazing food for the right price! - Edit
Was looking for vegan options in Ann Arbor while visiting and a friend recommended this. I was not disappointed. I would rate 5 stars but the restaurant is not all vegan.
Read moreFood: Yummy! I had the Mjaddara with a side of fries. The fried onion made this the sandwich amazing and the fries were well seasoned. I could not have been more satisfied!
Pros: Several vegan options on their menu, Speedy service

I ordered the falafel patties with the tahini salad which was the perfect pairing. Getting the food was very quick, and I was happy with my experience.

Pretty good - Edit
We enjoyed the falafel a lot! The toum was very very good. Baba Ghnaoush could’ve been a bit better, but everything else was great! Reasonable priced too. Had a vegan spinach pie that was alright

Quality food in casual environment - Edit
Menu has abundant vegan options which are clearly labeled. Open, bright space accomodates families and groups well. Baba gahnoush is flavorful without the bitter flavor some have. Mjuddara also excellent.

Quick & yummy - Edit
The food was quick and I was out the door with my 3 kids in tow, within minutes! The food was very good. I ordered the falafel platter which came with hummus, pita bread and I ordered a side of lentil soup (although it tasted like split pea- that I called to verify it was lentil). Otherwise- good experience.

Amazing Falafel - Would give a 5 - Edit
I love Jerusalem Garden for a really great and cheap meal. It is so welcoming to different diets. I always get the falafel plate with house rice. My boyfriend loves the fattoush salad. Overall, it has never failed to be really good and fast.

One of my faves - Edit
I love this place so much they catered my wedding. Delicious, healthy, fresh mediterranean food with lots of choices for plantbased diners. The falafels are killer, and I always get the largest size tabboulleh because it is so healthy and tasty. I stop here almost every daytrip to A2.

YES. - Edit
Seriously some of the best middle eastern food around. Their lentil soup and falafel can’t be beat, and they also excel in the hummus and baba ganoush dept! Oh, and mjaddara! Plenty of marked vegan options to be had, and you get a lot of food for the money.

So much deliciousness - Edit
The falafel, as others have mentioned, is the best. I'm also a big fan of their fattoush salad (I prefer it to their tabbouleh). The lentil soup isn't half bad. Very filling. Reasonably priced. Quick service. Been here too many times to count. :)

Favorite Falafel in AA! - Edit
Jerusalem Garden has been my go-to place to feed myself and take friends for a long time. This is a small place with fast sit-down service and take-out available. In the summer they have outside seating too. Prices are really reasonable for the portion size. The falafel is the best in town and they make the only grape leaves I have ever liked. They do serve meat but the veg and vegan selection is a large portion of the small menu. My only complaint is that they don't make their own pita but the falafel is so worth it.!

Fantastic value! - Edit
I LOVE Jerusalem Garden!!! They have the BEST lentil soup of any restaurant in the area. Their portions are big and their prices are low ($5 for a big pita sandwich, etc). Their humus is incredible, and their mjadarra (sp?)is nice -- not as oily as other places. The servers are really friendly (though overworked!). In the summer, it's nice to sit outside.
