fast casual Mediterranean - Edit

vegan options are good - tahini sauce and Jerusalem salad are both made without animal products. I had the falafel and hummus with rice and pita. even had extra for a snack later!

I got the avocado sandwich with a side of fries and an order of hummus. Just like the other reviews said, the falafel was probably the best I've ever had! There were so many options and good size portions. Plus, it's nice to have outdoor seating options on beautiful days :)

Vegan options. Best falafel. Plant-based owner/manager. - Edit

Fantastic middle eastern restaurant! I spoke with the owner and he is on a plant-based diet as well, so the restaurant is vegan-friendly. The restaurant does not use butter or ghee in any of their dishes. Both the vegetarian falafel plate and vegetarian combo plate are animal-product-free. I got the vegetarian combo plate which consisted of falafel, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, baba ghannoug, tabouleh salad, and a pita. All were excellent, homemade-quality dishes. The falafel were the best I’ve ever had. The portion size was generous. Great value for the money. It was my first time there and I will certainly be going back!!

There are two locations: Lombard and Oak Park. I visited the Lombard location.
