i was hesitant at first to try the vanilla soft serve since it says it’s made of pea protein, but it’s delicious. i’m assuming it’s made with ripple milk or something. i would’ve liked to try the cherry dole whip but i wanted peanut butter and those two don’t go lol. but the vanilla & pb was perfect in itself. super creamy and not icy at all.

Yummy ice cream - Edit
Go for the hard ice cream. It's creamy and delicious. The vanilla soft serve is now thin and icy. They stopped serving the awesome creamy one.

Best soft serve! - Edit
The vanilla non-dairy soft serve is so creamy and perfect- not icy or coconut-tasting. The sugar cone is vegan and so is the cake/wafer cone of course. The waffle cone is not. Sprinkles, unknown. Delicious!

Fantastic Soft Serve! - Edit
By far my favorite vegan ice cream in Jersey! Established in 1952, Jersey Freeze has been the shining pearl of Freehold and has undergone little change since. Its said that Bruce Springsteen has been going here since he was young and occasionally still visits to this day. Don’t know if its true, don’t care…because this ice cream is AWESOME!

They usually have a dole-whip flavor that rotates on the menu and that is apparently also always dairy-free.
Also they have Vanilla hard ice cream. Awesome spot just off of Route 9 by Freehold Raceway Mall…even some cool tables outside, perfect for a sunset snack😄
