Great vegan option! - Edit
This little restaurant is one of those “don’t judge a book by its cover” places. I really enjoyed the vegetarían meal with chickpeas and plantains! I asked for it to be vegan, and it was very tasty! My food was to-go and for around $12, it was a great value. I would definitely recommend checking it out.😄

I haven’t had the chance to experience genuine Jamaican cooking since going vegan. Upon this trip to Fort Lauderdale Florida, I knew that this was a place that I needed to check out. The staff was friendly and although it was hard to communicate with the language barrier as well as a plastic protective layer, she was able to verify that the beef soy curls were indeed vegan she prepped me a vegan box with coconut beans and rice, cabbage, soy beef and of course a side of sticky plantains. I am so glad to have found this little gem. She also told me that there was a completely whole food plant-based option made with chickpeas. Absolutely worth checking out.

Food was amazing and definitely worth trying. Staff seem unmotivated and not keen on answering questions... still worth it for the soy ‘beef’ though!
