Easy to find - Edit
The noodle shop was ok, but the "tom yam" was just the noodle shop + chilli flakes + some kind of sour condiment or lemon? (See second picture)

They sell packets of vege crackers, that was tasty.
There was a non-vege normal foodcourt kind of place right opposite. The local coffee (not espresso that kind of thing) was good at 20 Baht.

Best Tom yum - Edit
Their Tom yum is amazing and my recently turned vegetarian partner said it’s the best they’ve had in their life. Their salted fish fried rice is amazing too, a must get if you come here. The owner speaks Chinese and there is a Chinese menu too. For non Chinese Thai speakers salted fish fried rice is 咸鱼炒饭

Food was delicious and plenty of it - Edit
Service can't speak a word but they have a menu of dishes you can order in English. Don't know how much is buffet (it must be cheaper) but for fried chicken with cashews and stir fried sweet and sour with three portions of rice we paid 230bahts. Really really delicious!!!!!

Cons: A bit expensive but for big and amazing portions
