Delicious and Authentic Vegan Taco Platter!

I visited JC’s Tacos for my first time for dinner on September 10, 2020.

The menu had a variety of Mexican inspired dishes. I ordered a taco platter and requested that it be made vegan. The platter came with three tacos, rice, salad and refried beans. The tacos were amazing and had grilled veggies and mushrooms, salsa and guacamole inside, on corn tortillas. Tasted fresh and flavourful! Vegan tacos weren’t on the menu but they were so accommodating with my request.

I liked the colourful Mexican decor in the restaurant. They had tables available for dining in. Would definitely come back again!

Pros: Accommodating of vegan requests , Authentic Mexican food

Cons: Expensive , Not fully vegan

Surprising Vegan Gems

Love this place for a vegan, gluten-free burrito bowl with a cold and delicious watermelon juice! From the menu you may not necessarily see standout vegan options, but just chat briefly with the friendly and accommodating staff, and they'll let you know exactly what yummy food they can prepare for vegans. Their guac is soooo good, as is the rice that serves as a base for some of their bowls.

Pros: Tasty vegan options, Friendly staff, Very cute and fun decor

Cons: Not central , Not all vegan - make sure to check!
