Amazing best veggie food in JB

Came across this place one day in JB and have eaten there so much since. The buffet is amazing, so delicious. I had red rice and so many mock meats, tofu, Kai lan and malay curry all on one plate and it was 9 Ringgits. The Malay curry is superb. Great that you can help yourself to whatever you want. The owner is also so cool and friendly.

Pros: Tasty food, Price, Owner

JB Vegetarian, Johor Bahru

Ovo vegetarian eatery with vegan options. Mostly mock meat but also 4 different green vegetables, sea vegetable, curry, sweet n sour soup.

Pros: 4 green vegetables and sea weed, Inexpensive, Nice staff

Cons: All vegan is always better, More vegetable dishes would be better

Great simple food

Owner spoke great English and knew exactly what dishes were Vegan. I had a big plate of food (including mutton curry) for 6 ringgit. The stall is opposite a Buddhist temple. Don’t expect fine dining, it’s a stall in a small hawker centre. I’ll definitely be back 😊

Large variety, value for money but foods a little cold

If the food can be kept warm using warming lights or steamer it would be great! some dishes alone are quite salty and doesn’t go well with the noodles. Otherwise, great value and amazing spread, you are spoilt for choice!

Pros: Plenty of seating, Value for money

Cons: Hard to find , Cold food

Lots of options

I went around 11am there were loads of different food available. Around 25 trays with everything from steamed vegetables to curries, fried food and faux meat.
Food was tasty and I could try some things I never tried before.

Pros: Lots of options, Tasty

Cons: A bit expensive. I came in at RM8, The food is not warm

Tasteless food

I usually like this kind of buffet but this one was pretty average. Noting special and even tasteless. The food was cold as well. At least they had many choices and also brown rice.

Cons: tasteless, cold food

Tasty food, nice staff & cheap

The food stall is within a hawker Center. So it's no fancy candle light dinner place, but perfect for a nice meal. The staff is very friendly and there are lots of veggies and tofu variations to choose from. I paid 8 Ringet for a big plate full of veggies, rice and tofu. I'd always go again.

Pros: lots of options , self services (you can pick whatever you like), cheap

Good variety and value

The variety and the affordability of the food here has made me a regular customer. A plate of rice with 3 different vegetables almost always costs RM5. Lei Cha is also available on Mondays and Fridays.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good value, Good variety
