Great veg option in Ayutthaya - Edit
Went there on a Thursday morning for breakfast and was not disappointed!
Read moreThe premade food seems to be all vegan, as the lady told me that there‘s no meat but also no egg and no fish.

Youta Jay is the best - Edit
The trick is to get here early, and you'll see which trays are already getting scooped up from. It's about a 15 minute walk from Wat Mahathat. I recommend the Wat from 8-9 and then cruise over here at 9. Showing up in the afternoon means all the good stuff is sold out and sitting too long. I recommend the red curry, the green curry and the tofu plus some brownies to go! Enjoy Ayutthaya!

Amazing veggie buffet! - Edit
Ate here twice during my stay in Ayutthaya! Soo good! They have vegan brownies and a few cakes (double check for egg and milk as some do).
Read moreI usually get rice with a curry, a mock meat and a vegetable tofu dish! It's always good and the people are friendly :)
Sadly it's not open in the evening otherwise I would have gone more!

Never going to win first prize in the beauty contest - Edit
Manage your manager expectations, the place looks a little rough, and certainly not up to the cleanliness of what would be required in the United States. But whenever we have a vegan buffet, it’s always known to hit the spot. And this place did the job. Only bottled water is offered for beverage, no coconut water or anything else. Several selections of a stirfry variety and crispy beef style and things you would like, but none of it is served warm they don’t have a warmer in the serving area, which to me was a disappointment. Price is dirt cheap. Enjoy

Cheap and tasty - Edit
We had two main-sized plates for 90 baht. It was wonderful to be in a Jai restaurant and not have to worry about what we were ordering - there was no English menu. The owner will warn you if something is spicy though. Everything we had was delicious.

Maybe the best place in town for vegan food. Everything tastes delicious and fresh. Many options from mild to spicy. You can fill your belly for a few US$.

Difficult to find, but worth it - Edit
The food wasn’t the best I’ve had, but for the price and little vegan options in Ayutthaya, definitely worth it.

She said every cooked food is vegan. We just got rice with some of the cooked food. Didn’t ask for soup it was too hot and humid. Food was yum and cheap.

Authentic Thai food - Edit
Was happy to find a vegetarian place in Ayutthaya and with so many different buffet dishes, having authentic Thai flavor. The snacks weren’t as great however.

Good food at an excellent price - Edit
I agree with others that this like so many other 'jai' vegetarian style restaurants to be found across the country. Small,. Friendly. Buffet style. Mixed styles of cooked vegetables and a range of seitan meat substitutes. The food tasted good enough but at B60 for a meal for two, I was very pleased.
