Mixed bag!

Some items taste authentic and nice eg samosa. Some things taste as if they were made by short cut! Eg the peda.

Customer service skills - 0.
Infact in my personal experience i found the people rude and unhelpful.

Some Savoury Too!

I lived in India for a few years and love my Indian food, but I've never been a fan of Indian sweets. Thankfully Jay Sweets Mart has some savoury things too, and the samosas I had were good and ridiculously cheap (four for £1.20!).

I asked which items were vegan. One of the staff didn't understand me at all, but the friendly owner/manager did and he told me that the samosas were vegan as they were made with rapeseed oil. However, none of the sweets were vegan (phew! - I didn't have to try them!).

Pros: Tasty Samosas, Very cheap samosas, Friendly, helpful owner/manager

Cons: None of the sweets were vegan
