Really good jay eatery - Edit
This is my favorite jay eatery in Songkhla. Rice with 3 toppings is 40 Baht which is ok I think. It tasted really good also. They have a selection of ready made dishes and snacks and instant noodles. Everything is delicious.

Decent food - Edit
This restaurant was opened a few years ago by the guy who used to run the restaurant in Wachira soi 6. Since he sold it, it hasn't been as good. There is a decent selection but if you eat here every day you would get tired of it. There are about 8 pre-prepared curries available (the usual gaeng som, gaeng phet, mixed vegetables, gaeng cheut (bland soup) and gaeng briaw wan (sweet and sour) plus a select of mock meats (I like the sausages best). They will cook some dishes if you ask e.g. kao phat (fried rice with vegetables).

Cons: Same selection every day

Very tasty good priced food! - Edit
I am not a fan of this as a kind of breakfast, this is for me a lunch and even dinner I would like to eat lighter but when there is not many vegan options you should be happy for what you get!

OK - Edit
One the few veg options in Songkhla. Two dishes on rice is 30-35 Baht and there's also fried rice/noodles for 40 if you prefer, but you might need to communicate that in Thai. The menu board is in Thai only. Some English spoken by one woman there, none by the main server.

All vegan, tasty and cheap. - Edit
This small buffet style eatery is fully vegan, including the small shop which sells vegan products.
Read moreJay Buddhists just don't know and use the word "vegan", so they call it "vegetarian". However, in most cases, Jay Buddhists restaurants are completely vegan, as it was in this case. ;)
It is situated in the center of Songkhla, not far away from both the morning and the evening markets. Easy to find as it is located on the main road near the coast (with a port).
Nice and clean premises.
Friendly and nice staff. One of them speaks English very well.
Cheap prices.
Food was delicious. And made of a stuff of a very good quality.
Complimentary water for free. All cups, dishes and cutlery reusable, so enviro-friendly as well.
Open Monday - Sunday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
