A South Minneapolis staple - Edit
Jasmine Deli has been offering delicious vegan food since most of you were in diapers. They have many vegan options, including noodles, rice, soup, spring rolls, and arguably the best vegan bahn mi you will ever eat. (You have to specify it vegan - otherwise it will have mayo)

No-frills, mock meats - Edit
It's a no-frills Vietnamese place - for a more chic experience, go around the corner to their sister shop Jasmine 26. I liked the selection of vegan options and especially the fact that there is no extra charge for fancier meat replacements - fried tofu and mock duck are the same price. I had a noodle soup that I found to be satisfying, service was quick.

very adorable and tasty vegan options. - Edit
This is my favorite restaurant because the service is friendly, the prices are affordable, they offer many vegan options, are knowledgeable about what is and isn’t vegan, and most importantly, the food is outstanding. I love this place!

Amazing Restaurant - Edit
Jasmine Deli is my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis.
Read moreThe service is fantastic. They have outdoor seats which is great when the weather is nice. The prices are super low.
The food is second to none for Vietnamese in the Cities. They have the BEST egg rolls in town, great banh mis that I am addicted to, and several other great vegetarian entrees and appetizers.
A little story: my boyfriend and I were planning on getting dim sum at Jun, the new fancy Sichuanese place in downtown. We'd been there before and had a very good experience. But this time, we were seated in a nearly empty restaurant and waited for about 5-10 minutes and weren't even given water or had a server come over to us. I got annoyed--service isn't the most important thing to me but at an expensive place like that, it matters.
So we left and went to Jasmine Deli. We got quick, attentive service outside, and ordered four amazing dishes to share and paid about $20 for a huge lunch for two.
I have nothing bad to say about Jasmine Deli. The service, prices, food, and authenticity are great.
Pros: Amazing food, Cheap, Outdoor seating

Awesome Vietnamese food - Edit
Jasmine Deli is the in-the-know spot for people looking for authentic, light, tasty and home-cooked Vietnamese food. The service is always friendly and fast and there are numerous vegan items, including mock duck curries, cold salads, huge bowls of noodle soup with tofu, stir-fry rice plates and my favorite for quick-eats, the mock duck baguette sandwich (if vegan, specify no butter). All of their prices are under $9 and the sandwiches cost only $3 and make a great meal. Two issues, though: they don't accept credit cards and they have highly limited seating. Otherwise, this is the gem of the many Vietnamese restaurants in Minneapolis.

Cons: Not 100% veg, vegan items not marked, Limited Seating, No credit cards
