We were in Ballarat with a craving for Thai food - unsure about whether to try Jasmine Thai restaurant given the reviews here, we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! The staff were wonderful, the vegan options on the menu were clearly marked and the food was fresh and full of flavour. We walked away with full bellies and our cravings satisfied. Definitely worth a stop if you're in town.
We’ve made this our Thai go to in Ballarat. We’ve tried others but nothing compares. Friendly staff. Next to no waiting time. So much flavour. Happy to adjust meals for vegans.
One of the worst meals we have had.
The service - people nice enough, but they screwed up our order in multiple ways, throughout the meal. They told us that certain things in the menu could be made for us, given foods we dont eat, then AFTER our friends were brought their meals, we were told that they couldnt do those dishes for us, and we would have to choose other dishes.
They reheated the rice in the microwave.
Just about everything that was ordered came out wrong - my sister ordered one dish, they gave another. They kept leaving things out - had to be asked several times. The 'Jasmine tea' was a teabag, and truly tasted awful. I would have preferred hot water.
The food - SOOO ordinary. Really, an uninspired meal. The corn fritters were beyond greasy - I imagine the oil was pretty old.
So, I dont recommend them.
