Loads of Choice for Vegans!

Jasmine is a cosy restaurant on Bangor High Street, which serves Cantonese and Japanese food. There is a notice on the menu that indicates the vegan symbol used to identify the vegan dishes, and there is a huge selection. The Cantonese and Japanese foods have their own separate menus, making it easier if you want to stick to one cuisine. Here is a list of only some of the Cantonese vegan options:
- Tofu Rice with Blackbean Sauce
- Tofu & Mixed Vegetables Noodle Soup
- Mock Meat with Cumin
- Courgette, Glas Noodle & Tofu Pot
- Rice Congee
- Spicy Shredded Potato
- Fried Dough Sticks

Here is a list for only some of the Japanese vegan options:
- Okra Ohitashi
- Miso Soup
- Hiyayakko Tofu
- Vegetables and Tofu Ramen or Udon
- Curry Tofu and Mixed Vegetable Rice

To eat, I had the Peking Style Vegan Duck and Stir Fried Cabbage with Garlic Sauce with Salt and Pepper Chips and Vegetable Spring Rolls to share. The chips and the spring rolls could have been better, but the peking vegan duck and cabbage were incredibly tasty, and the portions were also very generous.

The service was really good here, and the staff member that served us was knowledgeable on the menu and veganism, so if you want to make alterations, it should be easily achieved at Jasmine. This is a great spot for Vegans in Bangor who want to enjoy a wide variety of Cantonese or Japanese food!

Pros: Nice Food, Good Service , Loads of Options, Good Value For Money, Vegan Options Labelled

Cons: Vegetarian Options Not Labelled, Some Dishes Higher Quality Than Others
