A little side of the road stand, the food is homemade and very tasty. The staff are laid back and helpful and it’s a joy to just be able to pick anything on the menu and know it’s vegan.

Very good! Do try it - Edit
Cool place, lovely people running it. The mac and cheese bake we good and very generous portion with rice and beans side. Seaweed “steak” wrap I probably wouldn’t order again - interesting steak but really was a giant mushy Pattie of veggies. Anyway. I feel like other options are stronger - I would go back and order something else. My side of sweet potato fries were also good!

Small vegan Restaurant with several different dishes. Unfortunately the dish we ordered wasn't available but we found something else.

Not our favorite - Edit
Not our favorite. Not worth a return visit. Sand floors, reggae and cats may have added to the mystique, but the food and service could not live up to the “Jammin’” name. We ordered seaweed steak, sweet potato fries, fried dumplings and salad. After a two hour wait, the “steak” was delivered cold. The topping was diluted and devoid of flavor. The fries were burnt and dried out. The salad came with pineapple chucks that were obviously from a can. The fried dumplings tasted like baking soda. They do not cook with salt. During our long wait our waitress ignored our discomfort. There is a small sign near the cashier that read “cash only” All selections on their short menu are overpriced. During our long wait we walked the few meters to the beach and enjoyed the waves.

Delicious!! - Edit
Everything was so delicious, even an easy recipe like patacones was very special thanks to the softness of the patacones and the tastiness of the sauce. We also took a cheesecake for dessert! It was open mic night, unfortunately no-one sang but I really like the concept 😊

Best place in PV - Edit
The only fully vegan place in the area and best food here! Chili without meat was super tasty and the algal burger was incredible. Big dishes, nice deserts and better atmosphere. There was also live music which made it perfect. The owner was also very pleasant. We’ll definitely come back on Monday! (Closed during weekend)

Great vegan restaurant with Caribbean vibe and very friendly service. The prices are affordable and the food is very tasty. Longer preparation times for a dish was pointed out when ordering. Much of the food is made fresh. Great sauces and a good seasoning. We will be back.

I tried the seaweed ackee with veggies and patacones, my boyfriend had the jackfruit thingy with yucca chips.
Read moreIt was the first time I tried ackee and patacones. The ackee was okay, a little bit flavorless. I had some bites that had more seaweed in them and they were good, but the rest was... eh. It was okay. But since I haven't tried ackee before, I'll not take this into account when rating the place because every taste is different and maybe it's not my thing. The patacones were really bland, they just came without anything? Also the first time I tried them but as far as I know you eat em with sauce or something. We got some sauce with our meals, which was amazing af, but it wasn't enough for the veggies and the patacones (and I got some extra from my bf). The vegetables were okay, tasted good with the sauce. So my dishes were "okay" for me. I usually like bland food, but this was too bland even for me.
My boyfriend loved his jackfruit, it was one of his favorite dishes during our CR trip. He was raving about it to everyone he met lmao. I personally didn't like it but this shows how different taste can be. He enjoyed the yucca chips, I tried them as well and found them the most delicious thing of the things we ordered.
The coconut water we got was the best pina we tried in CR. And great price as well, the portions are good. For me personally it was not a 5* visit, I came here with high expectations due to the excelling reviews, but since my bf loved his meal, the prices are okay, and this is a vegan place, I'll still give it 5*.
