Interesting food, massive portions - Edit
I enjoyed the food - it was unlike anything I'd eaten before. I probably wouldn't order it again though. The menu was limited when we visited - they didn't have everything available. We were the only people in the restaurant, and it didn't have the welcoming vibe some of the other reviews have alluded to, but it was nice enough.

I ordered the jerk jackfruit. It came within the amazing rainbow salad. The food was very good. The rainbow salad was one of the most beautiful salads i've ever seen. It had a huge variety of veggies, and it was topped with pineapple.

Such amazing food - this has been the best food experience for me in Costa Rica. The jackfruit and seaweed burger was so rich in flavour. Some level of patience is required as the food was not served quickly - but so much worth the wait.

Aufgrund der Bewertungen hier bin ich mit sehr hohen Erwartungen gekommen. Zunächst möchte ich anmerken, dass einige Gerichte und Getränke nicht verfügbar waren (betraf Vorspeise, Dessert und Kombucha). Ich hatte am Ende das Brotfrucht-Jerk, was nicht schlecht war, mit Bananenchips und Dip (ok, nichts besonderes) und das Snickers zum Dessert (sehr fest und etwas trocken).

Vielleicht habe ich einen schlechten Tag erwischt, aber ich würde nicht noch einmal hingehen. Da gibt es in Puerto Viejo zu viele andere vegane Angebote.

Temps is a fantastic chef and a super kind soul. His Jackfruit burgers are out of this world! Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is still an oasis and relatively untouched by mass tourism. 🌱

What a lovely place, the vibe is incredible, and so is the food, the owner is super nice! I had the Chili Sin Carne and it was a huge portion and absolutely delicious, slightly different flavours from a traditional chili and that was a pleasant surprise.

One of the best restaurants ever - Edit
I came here everyday during my 3-day stay in Puerto Viejo. It is some of the best food I have ever eaten. Try the breadfruit and jackfruit even if you don’t think you like jackfruit. It is so fresh and delicious. The Mac pie is also amazing. I tried almost everything in the menu and cannot speak highly enough about all of it. The owner is also so wonderful and passionate about vegan food. So happy I found this place.

Everything about Jammin felt right! We noticed it on the way into town and decided to stop in. The restaurant, location and staff had great vibes and it was evident that a lot of love and intention was put into the menu. It took a while for us to decide on what to order; everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing and everything on the menu sounded amazing … and it was! It was not only tasty and filling, it was soulful and left us feeling great. We will definitely be back while we’re in Puerto Viejo, it’s been our favorite place to eat in Costa Rica so far!
