Many vegan options - Edit

Unfortunately the vegan currys were sold out. I ate the "vegan penyet" & it was really good. We also had starters.. Rice paper rolls & lemongrass grilled tempe.

Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious & fresh food, Many vegan options

Have a whole vegan section on the menu, with some of the best tempeh I’ve eaten.

Very few vegan options, despite what the menu says - Edit

Please be aware that this place has very few vegan options, even if the menu says vegan, which makes it confusing.

The waiter said the menu actually has NO vegan options. When I asked about the skewers that are labelled as "vegan", they said that the sauce uses fish sauce, and basically all the dishes at Jali Kitchen use fish sauce. I would NOT recommend eating here if you are vege/vegan!

Also, the tempe wrap uses egg in the tortilla.

Cons: Barely any vegan options, Menu is incorrect (lists non VG as vegan)

Barely any vegan/veg options - Edit

This place had barely any vegan options. Only 2 to be precise. All other dishes were cooked in fish oil or had egg already added. Not worth the walk/ride as the 300m road inside is very rough.

Delicious Tempeh dishes - Edit

Nice spot within a resort, very kind staff. Many vegan options, many dishes can be chosen with tofu and/or tempeh. The homemade tempeh is sooo good, either as grilled sticks or in the main.
Vegan dishes are cheaper than with meat what is fair.
The penyet was really yummi but could have been a bit more of the delicious tomato sauce.
Not the cheapest place in town but good quality though.
For Asian fusion food, especially with Vietnamese influence, great place to try.

I got a tempeh burger. It is delicious. There are a ton of vegan options here, and some vege options that could be easily modified to be vegan (remove cheese, etc...)

Good salads.
Good sandwiches.

I'll be back here

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious options

Cons: Expensive for Indonesia. Cheap for western prices
