Separate vegan menu - Edit
Maybe the best option for vegan food in Sligo. Has a separate vegan menu and can accommodate for food intolerances. Food was really good too.

Great option to find on the road - Edit
I wouldn’t recommend eating in as it was very busy, full of kids, really loud and a high demand for tables so they were turning people away. I had only 50 minutes to eat at my table but it took about 40 minutes to serve my main meal so it had to be changed to takeaway. I got sweet and sour tofu which was good, I also got rice paper rolls which were not good, and it all seemed pretty overpriced for what I got. So happy to find a healthy vegan & GF option, though.

Separate vegan menu - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu which was nice. We ordered sweet & sour stir fried rice with tofu. The stir fried rice (surcharge) was a joke. It was literally plain rice, no vegetables. Also ordered the peanut sauce saté with tofu. Not enough sauce. Whole experience was ok. I am happy that at least they have a separate vegan menu.

Always an error - Edit
I've been here about 4 times. I don't think they have ever got the order right. Today is the last time I bother, there's not that many vegan options in Sligo which is the only reason I've returned. I had the Sichuan tofu with noodles. It's nice enough but today's portion has shrunk a lot and had way less tofu.
Read moreThey have no vegan option on their lunch menu that is about 25% cheaper and whilst they have Singapore noodles on the lunch menu, if you remove the prawns and chicken they'll charge you a couple of euro extra for the privilege since that makes it a vegan menu option. The person I was with has this again today and said it wasn't like it was before, too dry and bland.
The kids vegan options are plain noodles with plain tofu. The tofu is dry and tasteless; I don't know why kids are expected to like dry, boring food. I've asked twice for a bit of sauce on the kid's food, on both occasions they've not managed it. Today they came out with noodles and no tofu after I asked them to add a bit of sauce to the dish. The sauce was barely noticeable, we had to add soy sauce and for reasons unknown there was no tofu. So they brought six pieces of dry tofu for two meals.
So I then had to try and take sauce from my dinner and add it to my kids tofu so they could eat it. They left most of the noodles as they were too plain as the sauce was undetectable. They removed the cost of the kid's food after I was asked how the meal was. None of us had enjoyed the meal.
The last time I went they mixed up the vegetarian and vegan orders and the kids dishes again on that occasion.
So yeah I give up on this place, it's not enjoyable going somewhere that is incapable of getting your order right time after time. And I don't know why anyone would think unflavoured tofu is a good idea on any menu.
Pros: Quite a few vegan options
Cons: They've never got our order right, Plain tofu was never a good idea , Lack of vegan options on the lunch menu

Found meat in food😒 - Edit
Used to be regular customers for their vegan menu. unfortunately found pieces of chicken mixed in with our meals. I waited to post this review until the issue was dealt with, however they've not engaged with us since we complained. Would not feel comfortable eating vegan here again.

I eat here a lot, they have an entire menu dedicated to vegan options and the staff are very helpful. I love the Tofu Noodle Soup here especially, definitely recommend trying that one!

Great vegan food - Edit
We visited Jalan Jalan for dinner, and were not only happy to see that they had such a great selection of vegan food, but the portions were very generous as well. Not too expensive, and AMAZING flavours. The only negative was that it was very noisy, so I had a very hard time hearing what my company (and the server) said.

They have a separate Vegan menu card - Edit
I loved that they had both a gluten free menu card and a Vegan menu card available. You might need to ask for these.
