Okay

Taking in consideration there is no other possible vegan options elsewhere before security, this one is affordable and does the job. Clear vegetarian options that can b veganised.
Very helpful staff, they will ask what you can eat and so on.

Delicious and friendly staff

I ordered the Phad Thai noodles and the fried beancurd. Very delicious. Staff is also very friendly and willing to accommodate to your veg request. The option for veg is listed on the screen when you order your food as well.

The staff understands

English follows Japanese.

In menu, there are quite many options with “vege” logos, and I ordered the vege pat thai. When ordering, I said I’m vegan and asked the staff to exclude eggs or any animal food, she replies, “ok, so we don’t put nampla (fish sauce) too.” I appreciate her understanding. The pat thai was served with tofu, and tasted good.

Not really vegetarian options

“Vegetarian” option for green curry uses fish- or chicken-based soup stock, because, as I was informed “some vegetarians don’t mind...” i’m not sure about other dishes but I’d be careful.

Not many choices

You can have pad Thai or rice. Ask for tofu no fish, no eggs no meat.
At least it is good.

veg pad thai

I asked the lady at the counter what items can be made vegetarian and she said the pad thai or the fried rice so I asked for the pad thai and she asks if egg is ok and what about fish sauce so I told her egg is fine but no fish sauce. The food tasted great and they give you good portions too.

vegetarians not welcome any more?!?

I just remembered why I stopped coming here... Used to be nice.

There was a sign that said 'vegetarians welcome' on the wall, but the sign was taken off. I guess we're not welcome any more...

Only one veg option

I don't know if the menu has changed since the other reviews were written but when I went there in April 2014 almost nothing on the menu could be made veg. The man at the counter spoke English but told me everything was pre-made with fish sauce and it couldn't be made without it (including the Pad Thai and curries). I couldn't see tofu on the menu at all. The only thing he could make was their crab rice without crab or fish sauce, which was essentially just white rice with green onion and bell pepper. It was better than nothing but it wasn't much.

I'd recommend going to the Lawson around the corner and grabbing a pre-made salad and rice ball for less money.

Cons: Only one vegan option, Everything has fish sauce

Vegan food is difficult to find

The airport offers many restaurant ALL of which serve mostly meat! So I was glad to find this food booth that was willing to cater to my vegan request. The server understand English. I ordered a pad Thai and asked to leave out meats, fish sauce, and MSG (know in Japan by the brand name "Aginomoto"). To my surprise, the pad Thai was quite tasty and not too salty. Tofu was used as subsitute for meat.

Cons: serves meat

Decent pad thai

They were able to make the Pad Thai vegan for me, with the help of a nice Japanese woman who translated for me. The food tasted good (9/2008)

Pros: Good food

Cons: Englisn not spoken
