Great Option Near Gatwick Airport

If you find yourself at one of the airport hotels, this place is off airport, but easily within walking distance. I got a Papadam to start followed by the Veg Thali. The papadam came with two chutneys and some diced red onion. The Thali had numerous small portions and came with roti and rice (as is standard). Everything was excellent, including the service, and the final price tag (including a 10% service fee) was just over 25 pounds. Not cheap, but very reasonable give the portion size, location, and quality.

The crowd looked to be mainly/all locals and mostly people of Indian descent, both good signs in my opinion.

Be sure to specify vegan when ordering as I don’t think they get that request too often (though they knew what I meant by vegan).

Pros: Food taste was excellent, Portion sizes were large but not huge, Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient
