Chinese with excellent Vegan choices - Edit
Read moreI have been using Jade Garden for Chinese Takeaway for years and the food is consistently piping hot, fresh, delicious, generous portions and great value. They have Bean Curd, Vegan ‘chicken’, Vegan ‘duck’ and most of their sauces are vegan (just ask- they’re very friendly and knowledgable of vegan options). There is a small, basic seating area inside the restaurant also but mainly takeaway and delivery.
Pros: Extensive vegan options, Amazing value for excellent food , Generous portions

We were a bit underwhelmed by the food served. The sautéed beancurd and vegetables we had were surprisingly spiceless. The jasmine tea was good though and the owners kind.

Lots of options! - Edit
Lots of bean curd, mock chicken and mock duck choices and the person I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable about what was vegan. The only downside is that I ordered deep fried tofu and mock chicken and the mock chicken in particular was quite a wet dish, which is not really what I had expected. It was still lovely though and I expect that this is just a matter of personal preference.

Food was nice, there was a good range of vegan options (although we didn't check if they were _definitely_ vegan).

This restaurant was so accommodating, we told them that we were vegan and they had a huge range to choose from, even amending the chowmein for us. Was really delicious aswell.

Great food, asked for a few things that weren’t on the menu but they were happy to make it. They even gave us free drinks because we didn’t have prawn crackers😄

I had the mock duck pancakes and vegetable chow mein.. the mock duck was lovely and crispy and a generous portion.. the chow mein had lots of fresh crunchy veg in and wasn't greasy
