Separate vegan menu with 2 courses for €34 or 3 courses for €38.
Read moreWe were 2 who both had 3 courses with different choices for each course. Everything was excellent except for 1 main (mushroom linguine) which was good but a bit bland.

I got the three course vegan set menu dinner and it was awesome! I started with the croquette, got the linguine for my main, and the lemon cheezecake for dessert! So delightful and delicious, I forgot to take photos of the food, but took one of the vegan menu!

5 Star's Full Vegan menu - Edit
I love dining at Jacobs on the Mall, it's a real treat with all the choices available. They've a 3 course set menu with 3 choices for each course. They also have gluten free vegan options available and their own homemade bread. The quality never disappoints.

Gorgeous interior, good service. Complimentary homemade vegan bread was great, and loved that we had a few choices available on the three course set dinner menu.
Read moreTo begin, we had mushroom risotto (delicious but a little overcooked) and veg tempura (batter was heavy and had surprise sriracha), then puy lentil curry and spicy tofu udon (great), followed by raspberry frangipane with blueberry icecream, and affogato.
For the price paid I would have expected a higher standard of food (we would certainly have had better vegan Indian and Japanese dishes in local Indian and Japanese restaurants), but overall we enjoyed the experience, and the vegan Italian white wine was excellent.
Pros: Vegan wine clearly marked, Great service, Lovely surroundings
Cons: Standard of food below expectation, Ingredients appeared that weren't on the menu

Jacobs cater for all, meat , fish , vegetarian and vegan menus available . Great choice of several starters , mains and desserts which is rare to find for people who are plant base . Food was delicious and was well presented.

Top-notch Vegan Menu - Edit
Wonderful vegan and vegetarian menu. We took advantage of the 3 course menu that was as delicious as it was elegantly plated. Additionally, the service was friendly, professional, and generous to us throughout the evening. I highly recommend this for a romantic dinner or fun evening with friends.

We were suggested this place by another Vegan we met in Cork (we are here visiting from states). It is an amazing 3 course dinner with several vegan options (ask for separate menu). Food was amazing and worth the price in my opinion. Staff was very pleasant. I think we will go back another night while we are here!

It is SOOO nice to go somewhere fancy where you have a FULL Vegan Menu (4 of each starters/main/dessert + complimentary warm bread)!!! You wouldn't really know from looking at it but you can ask for both a Vegetarian and a Vegan menu.
Read moreI am always looking for an excuse to celebrate something over there. 30€ for a three course meal in an amazing space (used to be old baths, high ceilings, trees hanging above your heads), with very attentive friendly service, and incredible vegan food is totally worth it. The portions aren't to small either, as sometimes happens with pretty looking food. I wish everyone knew about these hidden menus at Jacobs On The Mall as it is so much better (at least for vegans) than Cafe Paradiso that everyone is always raving about.

Full Vegan Menu is great - Edit
Visited here twice and both times left feeling good. The full vegan menu is awesome and they are even sure to have vegan wine listed which is amazing and made me very grateful. Everything tasted great. One dish had a little too much pepper which tasted like an accident but I didn't mind because really everything was great including the staff, the service and the location which was central and something different to enjoy. This place is an evening set menu so do know that you can not just order one dish, you must enjoy more ;-)

First day in Cork and was lucky enough to find this place. There is a separate vegan menu with varies choices. I was really impressed with all the food, inventive, beautiful and tasty. Probably the best vegan set menu I've ever had. Really recommended. Want to give it 5 stars but the website won't let me because it's not totally veggie... Not fair, this vegan food is fantastic and deserves top marks!

Great 3-course vegan meal at Jacobs! - Edit
Jacob's on the Mall recently introduced a separate vegan menu - which can be requested when you pre-book your table. This is a really good restaurant and they take the food here very seriously. The food is beautifully presented and tastes great. I was very impressed with their vegan menu. There are 3 choices per course. This is something of a 'first' for Cork. Cafe Paradiso, for example, only has one vegan item on their menu and they are a fully vegetarian restaurant (Jacob's is not). I also felt that at €28 for the 3-course meal it was very good value. Highly recommended - 5 stars!
