Jack's Gelato do a number of creative ice cream flavours and clearly label which are vegan. When I went, there were "rhubarb and rose" "chocolate and liquorice" and "dark chocolate and sea salt." I had two scoops in a big waffle cone (all cones are vegan) and it came to £4.50

Apparently they change the flavours often, and with the choices being so unusual they may not have anything you want when you visit, but what I had was really good so I can easily recommend this place.

I stumbled across this gelato store on my trip in Cambridge and had to try it as the queue was very long (which usually means it’s good) and I saw that they had multiple vegan options! They regularly change their menu but on this occasion they had many sorbets such as Coconut and Passionfruit, Damson and Cherry and more! The vegan ice cream that they had was Chocolate and Sea Salt. My mum had the Cherry Sorbet and she loved it; I tried it and it tasted delicious. Their sorbets are almost like gelato in their texture and taste; not really icy and tasteless like many sorbets! I had the Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt ice cream which was AMAZING! Such a great texture, so chocolatey and delicious. It’s not really expensive either and they have many different cones and tub sizes on offer. This is by far some of the best vegan ice cream that I’ve ever had! Would 100% recommend!

I could go on an hour long rant about sorbet. It is not a suitable replacement for vegan ice cream!! I’m frequently disappointed when I show up to Jack’s and see that they only have sorbets as the vegan options, but every once in a while they really delight me with a macadamia nut or peanut butter. Really is hit or miss.

I eat dairy ice cream very rarely, but when I do, Jack's is always a safe bet. They have so many delicious options that it's hard to choose. The sorbets are divine too, will easily satiate anyone afraid to stray away from traditional ice cream. The queues can get VERY long, but it's so so worth it.

Amazing, authentic gelato! While it is slightly disappointing that ther are only a couple of vegan flavours, the flavours that they do have are amazing. I had the chocolate hazelnut and cannot recommend it enough. There is a range of sorbets also. The flavours do change so it is worth multiple visits! Be aware that the queue can get pretty long and the shop itself is quite tiny!

This place rotates their menu regularly, so there are always new vegan options popping up on the menu. There are usually 3-4 vegan options available each day. Today when I went the vegan options were watermelon sorbet, hibiscus sorbet, macadamia nut gelato, dark chocolate and salt gelato, and pistachio gelato. They're always delicious! Also, the cones are (almost always) vegan, but check when you get there. A single scoop in a cone is £2.50, so prices are very reasonable.
