Good selection, tasty burrito.

First time trying this place despite it being pretty nearby. Will definitely go back to try some other stuff on the menu.

Delicious food

We had the falafel in flatbread and the burrito with salad on the side. All the food was incredibly delicious and the juices and hot chocolate too. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic

Had an amazing salad here and my partner had a falafel wrap. The service was great and the food was wholesome and delicious. Would definitely return for more.

Great cake!

Stopped at Jack the Falafel for some desserts for our trip home and was so surprised at how good they were!
We got the banana loaf which had a subtle hint of banana and a lovely cream on top. We also got baklava - two different shapes. It was my first time trying baklava and I was so impressed🥰

Pros: Cool interior, Great banana loaf

Way better than I expected!

Ngl when I looked at the menu online, I thought it was a bit basic. "I make good curries at home, and I'm not fussed about falafel," was what came into mind. I was wrong!

The warming, homely jackfruit curry was perfect especially as it was raining outside. The flavours were spot on and the portion was sizable. Staff were super friendly too and the atmosphere was warm and casual.

Will be back if I'm ever in the area!

Delicious and creative

On a trip to Bristol, I tried a few vegan places, but Jack the Falafel was the very best. And the name does not do justice to a menu that is varied.
The top notch dishes (I had chickpea curry, my friend had a full breakfast) are creatively presented, their homemade contents a little bit different to standard vegan fayre, and they are plentiful enough to be wholly satisfying. The surroundings too, are well designed and welcoming.
Definitely, definitely recommend.

Tasty food and a friendly atmosphere!

Popped in for a spot of lunch, had falafels and chips plus some cake, maybe not the healthiest options but all very nice! good service, the cafe itself is small but welcoming and the staff very friendly.

Well worth a visit!

Pros: All vegan, Tasty food, Good atmosphere

Cons: Could have done with vegan soap in the toilet....

Absolutely lovely

Intrigued by the name, we called in whilst passing through Bristol.
Friendly staff, cosy cafe, and superb food. We had falafel as a starter and jackfruit burrito for main. They were both really tasty and delicious, and great portions, so I was only just able to squeeze in a luscious baklava (well, you have to try!)
If you're in this part of the world, pop in and be well fed!

Pros: Great food, Good prices

Absolutely Delicious!

Lovely relaxing venue with plenty of plants and bird noises playing in the background. Very friendly staff. Good quality food that's filling and that looks and tastes amazing. Also has a shop inside to buy vegan goodies.

Pros: Attention to Detail, Value for Money, Plenty of Choices

As it says on the tin - A Falafel Fest

There are falafels and falafels and these were definitely some of the best Falafels that I have had in the U.K. Really well put together falafels that come with a range of accompaniments. But my highlight was actually the Mango Chai, first time I have had one and it was fantastic. A great cake to finish off as well. Nice couple running the place and quick service. Has a little deli area and random other bits and pieces for sale. Very enjoyable.

Pros: Great Falafels - as you would expect, Great mango Chai, Cakes are very good

Homemade and Homely

Lovely little cafe with a small range of homemade dishes like burritos, wraps and curries. The food is tasty, simple, colourful and reasonably priced. Also has a small shop at the back with some food and homeware.

Falafel could be improved upon

The falafel wrap was packed full of veggies. However, none of them seemed to compliment each other. The actual falafel was rather dry. With a few improvements, this could be a fantastic place.

Pros: Seating, Decor, Portion size

Cons: Food wasn't so great. , Not many options for sides

small, independent, vegan cafe/restaurant with small but brilliantly crafted menu

Certainly one of my favourite eating places in the uk. Super helpful owner, choice of three or four main dishes which you can sample before ordering. Well balanced, unpretentious and totally delicious food. Choices include falafel (cooked when ordered), jack fruit curry, chick pea curry, all served with equally delicious salads and rice. She also has fruit juices - made on the day - a selection of vegan cakes, teas and coffee.

Pros: delicious, nutritious vegan food, cooked with great care by very thoughtful owner, reasonably priced

Cons: none
