Really really good! - Edit
I’m in Anchorage for work and drove the hour to Jack Sprat for a nice dinner. It was absolutely worth the drive. They have several items that are vegan by default and a few more that are easily veganizable. I had the soup du jour, which is always vegan, and the nachos. The food was delicious, portions were good, and prices were reasonable (my total was $22 and I left stuffed).

Vegan Nachos! - Edit
The food here is amazing. Lots of vegan options, including 3 vegan main dishes, and several starters/salads. And? vegan dessert! There’s almost always a wait (so come early) but the food is worth the wait.

Best fine dining with vegan options - Edit
Loved the vegan salad and peanut noodles w tofu. Great wine list too. Vegan items are clearly marked, including ones that could be vegan by omitting certain ingredients. Left very satisfied. It’s the highest quality restaurant for vegan food we’ve found so far around Anchorage to Seward.

Fine place to eat in Girdwood with a fair amount of vegan options - Edit
I had nacho libre as appetizer and then peanut noodles. Nachos were too spicy for my none existent tolerance to spicy food. Peanut noodles were amazing though it makes me think if the tofu was cooked with other animal products, maybe next time I’ll have it without.
Read moreService is excellent though they checked too many times on us to see if everything was ok or if we needed something (different people) which I’m not sure if it’s a pro or a con. The place is clean and very good looking, there is fire pits outside which is so nice.
Pros: Loved the peanut noodles, Portions are generous
Cons: I had to wait for about 45 min get seated lol, Only two bathrooms for all the customers , Too many people checking onyouif everything is ok

Pricey, above satisfaction with how hard vegan options are to come by locally - Edit
I was so happy to find a restaurant that had a decent amount of vegan options. Since visiting Anchorage and the surrounding area, I’ve struggled to eat because of the cost of food and the lack of options that aren’t $20-25 a pop. I ordered the Nacho Libre vegan nachos. They weren’t what I was expecting, but they were good. I expected a melted “cheese” but instead got a drizzle of a nutritional yeast type sauce. It was enough food for a meal, but was the price of an appetizer, which I appreciated. My friend ordered the appetizer of Yam fries, and for $11, I wouldn’t recommend them. They were okay. The cut of the fries was very large and so made most of the fry just taste like I was eating a half baked plain yam. Vegans can’t have the aioli that comes as dipping on the side. I ordered the Naked Berry dessert (raw vegan if you’re into that) and it was delicious. 10/10. My nonvegan friend tried it and wasn’t a fan, however, but she is a picky eater and very pessimistic about vegan food 🥱
Read moreThere were two other appetizer options, salad options, and 2 or three vegan entree options to choose from or modify to as well.
Our server was really nice, as was the host. Due to COVID, a large outside patio seating area had been set up that was entirely tented to protect from the rain. A lovely atmosphere in a very pretty area in the mountains.
Pros: Almost half the menu is or can be made vegan, Great atmosphere, Large beer/wine list
Cons: Expensive

Disappointing - Edit
I have been looking forward to trying this place for years, and I found it disappointing. When I pay over $20 for an entree, I want something special and delicious. Before ordering anything, when I was trying to decide about an appetizer, I asked if I could see the dessert menu first to figure everything out. The server looked baffled and said she would return in a few minutes. She did return in a few minutes, but without the dessert menu. I asked again, and she acted as if our prior conversation never happened (also why is the vegan item on the dessert item not marked as such since they take such pains to mark everything on the food menu?). I ordered the bibimbap. The vegan version swaps the pork with mushrooms (which they forgot to put on and I had to request many minutes later when my server finally checked in), and they replace the egg with...nothing. I chose to add some "marinated tofu" for $6. What I got was an eighth of a block of raw tofu that tasted as if it had been marinated in nothing more than the water it was packaged in. For $6. Why not just give me some tofu since I am not getting any egg? The rice was nice and crispy along the bottom of the pot. The veggies were fresh. But there was very little flavor in anything, apart from spicy (my wife's selection was also pretty bland). The cashew cheesecake is a good one, but not much different from what I could make myself with a few ingredients and a Vitamix. My wife (not vegan) got the chocolate cake and a coffee for dessert, neither of which she finished because she said neither was good. So yes, this place is in Girdwood and has a few dishes that can be made vegan. YMMV. I would not come back.

Thanks David, for this helpful review. Living and dining in Alaska, you know the local and state standards. I know not to make the effort to try it out.

Worth the drive - Edit
A gorgeous building with nice staff and some delicious options. There are burgers offered occasionally that are okay, but I prefer the little vegan tacos, cheesecake and YAKISOBA!

Really good, but pretty pricey - Edit
The Yakisoba was some of the best I've had, outside of a Korean restaurant. Really liked the seaweed pickles they threw on it, along with the blackened edamame and the fresh sprouts. The staff actually know how to sear tofu, which is nice - it was DELICIOUS. Buuuutttt....for $6 to add 3 slices (approx. 1/4 block) of tofu, I could buy a couple of packages of the stuff and sear it, myself. I will give them the fact that the tofu was the cheapest protein add-in you could do for the dish. That being said, I really hope the staff see some of that profit - they were really helpful and friendly, and everything was great.
Read moreBeer and wine selection is impressive (more so the wine), and the food is fantastic - particularly their raw vegan marionberry cheesecake. Would totally eat here again.
Pros: REALLY good food, Nice ambiance, friendly staff, Close to Alyeska, for the ski bunnies.
