Amazing must-visit for vegan Japanese - Edit
This vegan Japanese restaurant on the Gold Coast was so good we had to go more than once! Everything was delicious including the Okonomiyaki (vegetable pancake), Terichiki and Veef Sushi, Curry Rice with Karaage, Agedashi Tofu, and Katsu Don.

What an experience! - Edit
One of my new favourite places to eat! Delicious and beautifully served food, great service. We had a pleasure visiting this place on our trip at GC and I was really looking forward to it. It did not disappoint - the Midori ramen was so full of flavour and the rice bowl my partner got was really nice. Highly recommend checking this place out!

You must try! Both vegans and non vegans loved this restaurant. Really good quality food, variety of dishes sushi desserts drinks, lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff. Can’t wait to go back.

The food here was amazing! So many options, and all vegan! I was here for lunch but will have to come back to try the dinner menu! I had the katsu don which was incredible, especially the broth at the bottom 🤤 and the matcha mousse cake was so unique and interesting!

Izakaya Midori is hands down the best vegan Japanese restaurant I’ve been to so far. When I return to Gold Coast, I would definitely come back here!! Portions, presentation and flavours was chef’s kiss. The staff were so lovely. I’m glad my first ever vegan okonomiyaki was oishii 😋. Japanese curry rice was perfect and the matcha mousse cake was a hit.

Best restaurant on the gold coast - Edit
I took my girlfriend to this place as a surprise, but I was the surprised one- by sheer quality of this place. I should say I'm not vegan or even vegetarian, but this place blew my socks off. From the deeply delicious and surprising flavour profiles, the outstanding service, the genuine imported Japanese liquors, even down to their choice of bowls & plates. This little hidden gem is hands down my new favourite restaurant. My vegan girlfriend is just as keen on it.

My partner and I have tried most of the menu in our few visits to the Gold Coast, we are never disappointed, everything is so delicious! I especially love the vegan version of yakitori, better than any actual chicken I've eaten in my life!

While we initially waited a while to be given a table, they made a spot for us outside, which we were informed wasn't available. Such delish food !! We had the desserts, which were also divine. We had 2 mains (pictured) and also okonomiyaki for entree along with 2 plum wines and two desserts for $120.
