Coffee and cinnamon heaven - Edit
The first breakfast place we went to on our trip around ireland. We arrived late the day before and changed hotels right the next morning. We arrived at It's a trap with our chunky backpacks and were welcomed with really good coffee and delicious breakfast.
Read moreWe had an all irish breakfast wrap (which was amazing, with is the biggest compliment my SO would give (he is also no huge fan of wraps, so double win)). I had the ruben sandwich which I can't recommend enough.
Of course we had to share a cinnamon roll (lotus creme), which started our day in a very positiv direction.
Just note that this cafe doesn't have a customer toilet. it is perfect for take away and a short sit, but too small for a long stay.
Pros: Perfect food, Perfect coffee
Cons: no toilet, too small if you want to stay longer

Both the cinnamon roll and the marshmallow cookie were bomb. Very few seats inside but they also have a terrace. Friendly staff, good music… totally recommended :)

Cool place, very busy on the weekend. The Ruben sandwich wasn’t my taste but the tofu scramble wrap was delicious. Nice service.

Unica parola, Meraviglioso!!!! - Edit

A little gem in a vegan desert city! - Edit
One of very few vegan eateries in Dublin, and it didn’t disappoint!
Read moreVarious wraps and sandwiches (toasted), fluffy cinnamon rolls and drinks.
We went there twice during our short visit to Dublin and tried 5 different savoury items and all 3 cinnamon rolls.

Ideal para desayunar - Edit
Este pequeño café tiene una interesante variedad de dulces pero también de wraps y sándwiches saldos. Yo escogió el revuelto de tofu y espinacas y estaba muy rico.

Cute shop, delicious food, friendly staff! - Edit
We grabbed ourselves a delicious Brekky here yesterday and got the pesto mushroom toastie and the spicy korean wrap and boy were we in flavour country! The wrap was full of delicious, rich (and spicy) Korean flavours while the pesto sandwich was well balanced, tasty and a solid option. Would absolutely recommend the wrap but with a cold drink instead of a hot one, it was a touch difficult to do a chai latte and the Korean wrap at the same time.

Also I know it sounds like I didn’t enjoy the chai latte but I promise it was really good, I just should have polished it off before the wrap got to the table 😁
Pros: Korean wrap , Pesto mushroom toastie , Chai latte
Cons: Small shop with no bathroom

Gem of a café in Dublin City Centre - Edit
Its a Trap is a vegan café that serves hot drinks, sandwiches/wraps and has a bakery counter with a range of pasties and cookies. It serves oat milk by default, and has punk stickers on the coffee machine. I got a reuben sandwich, a chai latte and a marshmallow chocolate chip cookie, which came to €20.08 (not cheap but fairly standard for Dublin, with the bonus of supporting a small vegan business). There are a few outside tables and a small counter for sitting inside.

Great lunch spot - Edit
Stopped here for lunch with my husband and we ordered two wraps - an all day breakfast wrap and seitan & pesto. We shared a cinnamon bun afterwards as they are huge but it turned out to be a really nice amount of food overall and all of it was delicious!

The crew at It's a Trap have a really unique and functional system in place. A reduced menu with surprising amounts of variables, namely the easily adaptable cinnamon rolls.

Yummy cinnamon rolls - Edit
Small cafe that has a small selection of wraps, sandwiches etc but its main thing seems to be cinnamon buns and coffee, which is no bad thing at all.

Amazing and huge cinnamon rolls and tasty wraps. There are not many choices, but it's also not really needed. Great place for a quick snack or take away, not so much if you want to sit and chill for a while.

If it's a trap it's an all vegan tasty one 💕 - Edit
Small little place which is all vegan. Not a fast food place. More of a family cafe with a focus on quality ingredients cooked well. Mainly sandwiches on tasty bread and a mouthwatering array of desserts. Had the delicious cinnamon rolls twice. Had the Ruben sandwich which I didn't love, but I'll be back to try other menu options for lunch. Limited inside seating, outside seating in a covered area (mostly) away from the rain.
