Nice concept, lacking in management - Edit
Disclaimer: I don't want to attack any staff with that review. I used to work in restaurants myself and I think the problems come from management not leading the staff properly.
Read moreWe were glad to be able to find some vegan options around Titisee. We wanted takeaway at first but the person on the phone told us that it's not possible because the kitchen doesn't have enough time.
Still, we wanted to taste the food with all those good reviews so we came in to try it there.
We ordered the fried dumplings and sweet-sour tofu bowl along with two fried tofu skewers.
Immediately, it was obvious that there is a sincere lack of management. From not being sure if we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves to trying to order over the QR-code as stated on the sticker on the table only to be told to order in person (which happened to every new customer who came in), it was just a lot of confusion which can be fixed easily.
The staff was lovely for the most part, though there seem to be some outliers. Simple mistakes that you learn on your first day as a waiter were made by some.
The food came out timely but seemingly at random: we got our first skewer, then somebody else got his, 10 minutes later we got our second one. My meal came when my partner already nearly finished hers. We would've liked to order more drinks but there was no waiter tending to our table after we got our mains.
To the food:
I really, really wanted to like it, because I like the concept and it was obviously made fresh with fresh and local ingredients.
The dumplings: alright, but bland and nothing close to the "Maultaschen" they are advertised as. The sauce was mostly soy sauce with coriander.
Hot bowl tofu sweet sour: The sauce was a bit on the spicy/sour side, but not sweet at all, more bland. The veggies were fresh and really nice. Unfortunately the tofu was unseasoned huge chunks. There's so many nice things to do with tofu, especially in asian cuisine, this was not one of them.
Tofu skewers:
Small bits of red bell peppers and big chunks of smoked tofu with some spices. That's it. The tofu had a really good quality, i still don't want to eat it as if it was one of my depression meals. There's no sauce coming with it, so it's dry.
We didn't have the experience we hoped for and will not visit again, even though it's one of the only vegan options in the area.

Great choice - Edit
We ate here one evening and were very impressed with the choice of vegan dishes. They were also happy to prepare a plain bowl of noodles for our daughter with tofu on the side. We had gyozas, summer noodle salad, ramen soup, tofu mapo which were all vegan. I think we will be returning here before we head home.

We had a take away Bibimbab. It was ready very quickly. The taste was good but the ingredients a bit simple and with jasmin rice instead of the korean style rice.

Modern und Preiswert - Edit
Ich war für ein Wochenende am Titisee und bin dann auf dieses moderne Restaurant gestoßen, mit vielen klar deklarierten veganen Optionen. Geordert wird via QR-Code, welche an den Tischen angebracht sind. Die veganen Maultaschen waren so lecker, dass ich am nächsten Tag direkt nochmal hin musste:)

Einige vegane Optionen, alles was wir probiert haben war sehr lecker! Und alles wirklich preiswert, besonders weil vieles Bio ist. Das Essen ist teilweise schon recht scharf, aber für mich persönlich noch so, dass es mir gut schmeckt!

Sehr lecker, schärfer - Edit
Der Nudelsalat war lecker auch wenn er meiner Meinung nach etwas mehr Gemüse und weniger Nudeln vertragen könnte. Ich empfand die schärfe als sehr angenehm, jedoch beschwerte sich der Nachbartisch, wenn man nicht scharf ist evtl bescheid geben.

We tried the Maultaschen, Noodle salad, Bibimbap, Beijing ZhanjiangMian, Seasonal salad and hazelnut ice creme. Everything was okay, we did like the Maultaschen and noodle salad more than the rest. The staff was friendly, however we were told the Bibimbap would not be spicy, but it was quite spicy. The place itself is nicely decorated and clean.
