Tasty

This was a really tasty meal which was a sampling of different dishes using local ingredients. All were flavored really nicely! Dining here in the evening requires a reservation.

Not the right attitude towards customers

Food was OK but not enough, we were hungry again after 2 hours. We had lunch as dinner needs to be booked and the cost of 25 USD sounded pricey considering the set up. Unfortunately staff was rude during our meal there. I suppose they are overworked as two people seem to be there the entire day but customers should still be treated with respect and at least greeted.

Local vegan dishes

The Chef himself is vegan. It was awesome trying vegan versions of local dishes! Everything was flavored so well, by far my favorite meal in Soufriere.

Tasty food but takes advantage of tourists

After ordering a vegan meal, which the Island Chef said was 50 Caribbean dollars, or about $15USD, a local next to me ordered a fish meal for half that amount (25 ECD). I was surprised at the stark difference in price (and fish is more expensive than veg too) but more so when I got the meal and the plate portions seemed smaller than the packed take away box for the local client. Although the food had really good flavors, I didn't feel that it was worth $15.

While some tourists may not have a problem with that, in my opinion it's bad juju to be up-charged twice as much and receive less food for it when (as I discovered later) you can go to nearby Fedo's restaurant who not only charges less than half that (18 Caribbean dollars, or $6.5) but gives you a full plate of equally tasty St Lucian food. Fedo's charges tourists the same price as it does for locals. So now you know, you can make up your own mind.

A True Gem of St. Lucia

Absolutely delicious and a.n amazing experience. Reservation for sunset dining made via what’s app with the chef. We were asked if we wanted vegan or with fish… My vegan meal was amazing!! And the only difference to my husbands meal was the fish.

Pros: Farm to table , Personal and attentive , Delicious to the last bite.
