Vegan options in a town with NO vegan options - Edit
This is a funky brewery in the incredibly small town of Florissant, CO. This is a pretty rural area, and I was so excited to find a place that serves really delicious black bean burgers. After talking to the waiter and chef, here’s what I recommend:
Read moreBlack bean burger (Delicious!) on their dairy-free focaccia bread, remove pesto and add avocado. The ketchup and balsamic are dairy free, so these are good options for dips or sauces. They have salad options as well, and their house-made tortilla chips with salsa were a great appetizer.
The options are definitely limited, but in a town with ZERO vegan restaurants, I was so grateful to find a place where I could get a tasty black bean burger. If anyone is traveling through and is really disappointed by the lack of vegan food in the area, this would be a good place to try.
