Seitan tacos - Edit
Fast service and the vegan seitan tacos were excellent.

At least a handful of options as mains now - salad, quinoa bowl, impossible type burger, and the tacos.

Solid, clearly labeled vegan options - Edit
Their menu has recently (as of 2023) been updated, and now includes more vegan items (by default, no modification required). Make sure to check the Iron Bay website for the most recent menu, as even Google Maps tends to link to an old one.
Read moreIn a town like Marquette with not a single vegetarian restaurant, any place with reliable and tasty options is appreciated. Iron Bay gets the max of four stars with clear labeling and being a little inventive, rather than just having a veggie burger. I mean, when's the last time you walked in to a bar-and-grill and saw a vegan menu item described as "wedges of watermelon and heirloom tomato topped with smoked sea salt, vegan feta, and lavender infused white balsamic vinegar"?
We didn't try the burgers or fries; they have an alternative veggie patty which the menu says is Lightlife. You'll need to ask whether this can be made vegan. The fries are only labeled vegetarian - I'm not sure why.
One of us had the roasted poblano and strawberry salad, which was excellent. It comes with vegan feta cheese. Not sure how this was made, but it was extremely good.
We also had the seasonal vegan tacos, which is a fusion option that comes with a rotating assortment of roasted vegetables and a creamy dressing. This was very good as well. Other interesting menu options included the roasted corn chowder and a lemon tahini quinoa bowl, neither of which we got to try.
We've stopped in here for cocktails as well, and these were really great.
I'd definitely call Iron Bay a first tier choice for vegans in Marquette.
Pros: Interesting and unusual vegan choices, Clearly labeled menu, Great cocktails
Cons: Somewhat pricey, Very busy, hard to get a table, The fries are (apparently) not vegan

Several options and great atmosphere - Edit
We ordered the seasonal tacos (acorn squash, black beans, and slaw) and the seasonal salad as a wrap (root vegetables and vinaigrette). Several vegan desserts and ice cream. Some things on the menu were unclear. We found out the slaw was vegan but it was not labeled as so and it seems they only have brioche buns.

Decent vegan options - Edit
This is a good place to come when visiting Marquette if you have non-vegan family & friends joining you. They offer a rotating vegan wrap, as well as the ability to create your own burger with an Impossible patty. The restaurant has great ambiance and outdoor seating!
