Little spheres of delight - Edit
I had heard of this local cuisine so was excited to try it. The store was in an older more traditional part of town so made the experience even more special.
Read moreOyaki are savoury dough pockets with different fillings. I enjoyed all the flavours, even the red bean which is normally something I normally don’t like.
The menu is in English and the staff are lovely.

Oyaki is a delicious dumpling typical in this region of Japan.
Read moreThis shop specializes in grilled oyakis (instead of steamed soft ones). All the flavors are vegan and delicious.
Note that some of their auxiliary products aren't vegan (like milkshakes, ice cream...)

Stopped by after Gansho-in temple and had an awesome selection of oyaki. Everything we tried was great. Highly recommended.

Too many delicious options, impossible to choose a favourite. The staff were very friendly and the space was inviting. A delicious and filling vegan option is much appreciated in downtown Obuse where options are limited!
