My veganuary exploration continues, this time with a vegan breakfast in Widnes.
Read moreEnjoyable but could do with a couple rounds of toast and I would prefer the tomatoes grilling.
Nice additions is that the avocado is served smooth like guacamole 🥑 with a smidge of citrus which I love but I'm aware that some don't like it.
I would definitely go again and ask if the tomato can be cooked and an extra round of toast. #Veganuary

Friendly and homely - Edit
There's not a huge vegan selection but they are accommodating if you ask, and have different plant milks for hot drinks, and a full vegan breakfast on the menu. Friendly welcome and I like the fact the server confirmed the milk they brought me was oat milk.

Very slow and dry and cold food, but they were busy. Could have been a one off. But the contents of the vegan breakfast were not great. Very dry avocado, cold and dry sausages. The thick toast was the highlight of the food, but ridiculously over ‘buttered’. Americano was nice.

Best Vegan Afternoon Tea!! - Edit
Enjoyed a beautiful vegan afternoon tea at Ireland’s this afternoon. So tasty and colourful. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Also great vegan options on menu. Highly recommend a visit!

Nice vegan breakfast - Edit
Very friendly cafe with great service. The vegan breakfast is not on the menu, so you have to ask for it. It was served as: Linda McCartney sausages, beans, asparagus, spinach, mushrooms and half tomato. They had soy milk for my coffee too. I also bought a vegan jam crumble slice for the road which was very nice... would have been rude not to :-)
