Best ramen in sf - Edit
The veggie akamaru ramen was sooo good. My favorite ramen in sf. So creamy and delicious I will be coming back here again. The Nirvana Karaka was delicious too! #Veganuary

Vegan ramen - Edit
The vegan ramen and vegan cucumber appetizer we tried at Ippudo were very good! I appreciated that the waitress was well informed about what was vegan on the menu. Overall, there was one vegan ramen option and 2 vegan appetizers. I wished they had more options, but it was an enjoyable lunch for everyone in our group.

Sad excuse for vegan ramen - Edit
This Ramen left me disappointed. Very little toppings and the tofu was such a small amount. They clearly do not prioritize the vegetarian Ramen at all here.

Best ramen ever! - Edit
Seriously - the broth is so delectably deep in flavor! The tofu is delicious too! Upon serving, the waitress recommended to taste the original broth before mixing everything together. Make sure that you do!

Amazing Vegan Ramen - Edit
You have to be prepared to spend $16 for bowl of ramen, but it is super tasty. They have two styles of ramen and have a vegan version of both, "classic" and "modern". I tried the modern because it has miso and was described as having a deeper flavor, and I was not disappointed. It has a couple of thin strips of fried tofu and a rich broth with perfectly cooked noodles. The interior is very lively, and prepare yourself for a long line if you go during peak times on the weekend. The restaurant is on a pedestrian only street in between 4th and 5th Streets near Mission.

Two vegan ramen options and a few other options dotted on the menu (labeled vegetarian but staff are knowledgeable) I only tried the ramen but it was delicious definitely recommend!
