Closed Sun. Kitchen closes at 2:30 pm. Grab-and-go thereafter.

Got my happy feet dancing! - Edit
Thrilled to find this gem in downtown Sarasota! The food is terrific and the ambiance wonderful with indoor and outdoor seating. After you finish your meal pop across the street to Whole Foods for some healthy to go snacks for later. Wish there were more places like Ionia Organic Cafe in my travels that focus on healthy raw and vegan. This find made for one happy day for this vegan nana!

With the inclusion of a welcoming and clean environment, friendly staff and being the only raw vegan establishment in SRQ, the consistency of quality and flavor is never gone unnoticed. I always refer people here whether they’re plant based or not, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.
Read moreI get the same things most of the time because it’s my comfort food, but do try the Mac N ‘Cheese’, Italian pizza and a delicious wheat grass shot to feel your ultimate best. I come here as much as I can to support the business.

A World-Class Option for Vegan/Organic Food - Edit
My wife and I went to Ionie for lunch today -- somehow we have missed this gem before -- and it was five-star in every regard. Delicious and creative food, interesting drinks, lovely staff, beautiful atmosphere, and all-vegan/organic. We cannot possibly recommend it highly enough!

Amazing raw food - Edit
This is second place which I loved. Food was delicious ( pizza was great) and ( the Martin sandwich). And Chocolate cheesecake was perfect. One thing is we could not eat inside but we were happy to eat outside. PS: came back in 2023 they changed location of the restaurant. It is much better now. Wow!! Amazing place. Food was super healthy and delicious and staffs were such nice and welcoming. Love this place.

Stopped here for breakfast after reading some excellent reviews. The menu is extensive and knowing I won’t be in this area for some time, I ordered breakfast and lunch to go. Enjoyed the Antioxidant smoothie and banana blueberry pancakes. Looking forward to the taco salad later!

We just visited this place and the food was delicious. We shared the Martin sandwich and the Italian pizza. Both I will definitely order again. The flavors in the raw pizza were outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Juice bar with food also! Very healthy. To-go and outdoor seating. I recommend trying a juice and the avocado toast! The owner was around each time I had been there and she was also so happy and kind to the guests. We loved visiting here. The drinks and food not only taste really good but are 100% vegan. Parking is on the side of the cafe.

Quaint walk-up window inside of a healing arts building. I placed my order online when I arrived and it was ready quickly. I had the Martin sandwich on dehydrated onion bread with rutabaga ‘fries’. The Martin was so tasty with a nut cheese, sprouts, avocado, tomato, jalapeños, red onion. I love it. I also ordered ‘sautéed’ mushrooms and a loaf of onion bread to take home for only $5 each. Owner was very kind too. Highly recommend

We had a super delicious and filling lunch today at Ionie’s. Olga was helpful and they worked with my food sensitivities which was so reassuring. The garden wrap was my favorite thing we ate, wonderful textures and tastes. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Don’t let the detours deter you, it is worth finding.

I found this place on my HappyCow ap while visiting Sarasota from Pinellas county on business. Lots of construction around the building, but very good sinage directing me to the take-out area. Super friendly service while I ordered by phone. The food was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely make a trip back.
