Lovely - Edit
Nice cafe with a great view
Read moreFood is a nice and a nice break from other foods you get in Kigali.
The lax bagel is great but very small given the price.
So more on the pricey side but every once in a while a nice alternative if you want something different.

Not many options - Edit
Past reviews we read mentioned vegan pancakes, sandwiches, etc. When we went they had a vegan and gluten free passion fruit bar but as far as we could tell, (or the person behind the counter could tell) that was the only vegan thing they had to eat. I would come back for coffee as it’s a beautiful spot and there is a small little kids play area with a toy kitchen for little ones but won’t go back for a meal unless they add some more options back (that it sounds like they have had in the past).

Cons: No vegan food options except one treat

Excelllent vibes + marked vegan options - Edit
There’s vegan treats, smoothies and bagels. The book store is super cool and the views of the city are great. Excellent vibes!

Vegan food with a view! - Edit
So happy to have found this cafe with quality vegan options! The carrot lox bagel was so good! We also got what we thought was a salad but turned out to be grilled cheese with a side cucumber salad - also good! Only downside was both times we were there they were out of plant based milk so settled for tea instead of coffee.

Cons: No stock of plant based milk

Coffee with a view - Edit
Small menu but all well done. Carrot lox bagel was delicious; the cream cheese in the bagel was incredibly flavorful. They had a dark chocolate cinnamon tart which was truly fantastic; very chocolaty and texture was delightful.

Cafe is attached to a bookstore with a relatively wide selection.

Good food - Great view - Edit
The food is simple and well presented. The menu is limited, but what they have is good. My go to meal was the grilled cheese with cucumber and chickpea salad. The coffee is really good, but then all the coffee in Rwanda is really good. They also have some tasty, fruity drinks as well as carbonated beverages. There are many sweet breads and pastries, but I didn't have any of those. The rooftop cafe has one of the best views in town. The restaurant doesn't have air conditioning. Or, at least it wasn't on the days I was there; so, the space is a little warm. You can stay there and use the wifi as long as you like. They're inside a great bookstore. Ikerizi Books.

Service is a bit slow and the menu is limited, but the view! - Edit
Beautiful view from the rooftop, which makes this place totally worth going to. There’s a very limited menu here (particularly for vegans - must modify the salad), but they can veganize their drinks with macadamia nut and cashew milk. Service is slow, free wifi though!

Cons: Expensive , Slow service , Limited menu
