Overpriced and flavourless food - Edit
The staff was really nice but the food wasn’t..the only thing that tasted good were the patatas bravas, but 8€ for a small plate of chips with mayonnaise in my opinion way too much...the falafels were also really disappointing they were undercook in the middle and really oily (also not to mention that 3 falafels with a small portion of peas hummus which tasted okey and a tofu kinda sauce were 14€ ). I don’t mind spending a lot of money on food if the food is worth it or delicious but unfortunately this wasn’t the case!

We went three times during our stay in El Pujols and really enjoyed the food! Great gluten free options, too. My boyfriend loved the veggie bocadillo/burger so much, he ordered it every time!

My omni husband booked a table here for us tonight, knowing I was very keen to try this restaurant. Its difficult to remain objective when you find yourself in a rare situation where mostley everything what is ordered is a tasting option for you....how excited was I. The owner of this, well thought out, attractivly decorated petite restaurant, is called Elena. You can feel the passion and love she has for this place when she is suggesting what to eat. The menu is vast, with mostly everything coming as vegan or option to have as vegan. There is even a cheese board...completley vegan! I never got to try this as I was with my husband and our 6 year old son, who, come 9 pm, had had enough and wanted to go to bed. But the food we did try did not dissapoint. For starters we had the dips, which consisted of a gorgeous red pesto with nuts, hummous and oluve tapanada. Lovely being able to taste the different flavours. My son had as a main, the falafal, which was delicious. The flavours were amazing and it was so fresh tasting. My husband had the veggi burger which tasted really good too. I had the special which was sopa noodles woth tofu and mixed veg. A really nice dish, which was enjoyed by all of us.

We were told that there was only one table left to reserve, when we arrived the place was empty, but when we were leaving people were being turned away. A very popular place and credit to Elena and her team...
