Lovely ladies and lovely food - Edit
Moroccan bowl and white bean bowl hit the spot. We got a lemon raspberry bar for dessert and it was the best we’ve had! Be aware that food is made ahead and stored in the fridge until ordered. Owners reheat your food for you if you dine in.

🙁 - Edit
So disappointed. I went out of my way to come here because I always love supporting places that are 100% vegan. This place is only open 3 days a week so I was excited to check it out. Sadly even though the place claims it's open until 7pm they hardly had anything in stock when I arrived here at 3 pm on Sunday. The gentleman at the counter said that because they aren't open on Mondays they don't restock their stuff. That is a terrible way to do business. So basically come here on a Friday or you're getting leftovers. At any rate, I was determined to try the food so I got the last slice of pizza and chorizo empanada they had available. They heat the food up in a small air fryer so I guess they can only do one item at a time. The pizza was good. No complaints there. The empanada came out 10 minutes after the pizza and I had to send it back because the entire center was frozen solid. I ended up getting a refrigerated container of "beef" which was a bit over salty for me but tasted fine. It would have probably been better warmed up.

rumor has it that the sisters who originally ran this place at its best are coming back soon. so who knows , maybe stay tuned, and it could be rejuvenated at their return 🤷🏽♂️

Pretty good - Edit
I stopped by here, on my way to the airport, based on the reviews. It’s a very small place and a limited menu, with a small market. The service was very friendly and quick. I got a Shawarma sandwich and a slice of carrot cake. Both were very good. I ate them before I took any pictures.😄 #Veganuary

Especially good baked goods and desserts - Edit
I have been going to Inika for a while, for both food and desserts. My favorites are the almond cookies, and the peanut butter cookies. From the savory food, i like the shawarma platter best.

Friendly staff, tasty food! - Edit
Great stop on our way to airport. Breakfast empanadas and a side salad made special for me. It included a sampler of their hummus, eggless salad and walnut “tuna” salad. All very good. Hubby had chicken empanada as well. More of a takeout place but with 5 inside tables.

Very cozy vibe! I had some on-tap passion fruit kombucha with my seitan shawarma and rice (underneath), topped with a dollop of walnut “tuna”, chickpea salad, assorted veggies and drizzled with vegan tzatziki sauce. Delicious!

Good People. - Edit
At first, I came for the muffins. But getting to know this family - two twin daughters who have kept things going at this place started by their late mother - has been lovely. It’s a friendly place, and the food (not just cookies, cakes and the aforementioned muffins) is is very good! They also have a number of breakfast items (burrito) and lunch items.

Inika Foods - Edit
Inika Foods is a great spot for vegan food. Definitely drop by if you're in the area. The day we went the restaurant was not offering hot food, only previously prepared food in the cooler. This was a bit disappointing, but the food we had was still good. My partner got the eggplant spaghetti and I got a soup and a lentil puff thing. Everything was really good when we reheated it later, but the lentil puff didn't have any lentil in it. Seemed strange they marketed it as such when there was no trace of lentil inside the puff, but it was still good to dip in the soup. We'd try Inika again. I bet their hot / made-to-order food is top notch like the rest of the reviewers have said.

Owned and operated by Natasha and Nicole, 2 of the nicest vegan ladies on earth - you will feel like you've been friends for years! Food is reasonably priced, always great. Limited indoor seating, and watch social media for updates as the menu changes daily.

Phenomenal yet Wholesome Vegan Food - Edit
Loads of tasty things, really loved the Jalepeno Poppers (cheezy and not too spicy with an amazing dipping sauce) and Vegan Baklava (each piece of baklava seemed to be made from a different nut-- wow!). The local Kombucha was also fabulous. At first glance some of the food may appear simple but at the first bite you know it's high quality food with lots of love put into it. Very flavourful indeed. They have some unique food items too. Make sure to go early so everything is still available. I went 10 mins before closing time (oops!) but I was still able to get some good stuff😄
